This place is to put in mildly — lousy ! We went for breakfast, my husband ordered biscuits and gravy, well he got way more then he asked for ! When the food came to the table his food had 3 flies in it. I calmly brought it to the waitress attention, so as not to draw attention from other customers, she grabbed the plate(no apology) and asked if my husband wanted another plate of biscuits and gravy or something else from the menu, he wanted nothing ! I should have bellowed, «what the hell, are you trying to poison people ?» Or asked to speak to the cook,(chef is an understatement). On top of it all she tried to charge us for the fly-ridden food ! don’t eat here unless you are a frog/lizard ! We did not pay the bill, and guess what — no tip either !

Was driving back to Michigan and needed some caffiene and a bite to eat. Decided to give The Coffee Cup a try. Clean place, packed on a Sunday. Coffee was gas station grade, Food was cheap, but low quality. Might work for the locals, but I won’t be back.

I love diners! A friend of mine and I ended up here when we were in the area for the day. We had been going-and-blowing all day, so I guess I should put that into account, but we are in love with the coffee cup to this day! I had chocolate chip pancakes and an egg. Delicious and affordable! Our waitress knew we were kind of exhausted and immediately gave us water. We are definitely coming back here when we’re in Princeton/Bureau County. Is it just me and my obsession with the coffee cup or does anyone else appreciate the building’s «sketchiness» after you’ve ate the food? Haha. Sometimes those places are the hidden gems!
