I had a similar experience. My application was completely ignored. I’ve adopted from rescues before. I understand the scrutiny, and I’m all for it, but these people are nuts! I feel sorry for the dogs in their care. Really! A year in foster care?! It’s a wonder that any of them get adopted. Poor pups that are just looking for a good furever home!!!

Tried to adopt a dog through them. They horrible people. Especially the person who runs it, Iris. She’s is a narrow minded nut bag who will judge you the minute you speak with her. Its the reason people like her maker it harder and harder to adopt a pet. I currently have a pet and was looking to adopt a playmate for them and a new member of the family, but after asking certain questions about how I raise the dog she instantly went from super nice to super MEAN in less then 5 secs. These people won’t let you adopt a dog unless you’ve raise your dog properly in their ways and their eyes. Stay away from her and this organization if you don’t want to deal with head aches. She will ignore your application and go back on her word. She is not a veterinarian, nor have any knowledge of ownership dog relation. She is a advocate who thinks everyone is bad.
