Probably a 3.5 out of 5. Get tons of food. Kids love it. And you can get a ice cream cone. Good lunch stop.

My husband & I were passing through Prosser & stopped in for a bite. My husband got the Inferno Burger, it was juicy & delicious & had plenty of jalapeños! I had the Ranch Burger, juicy, & big but the tartar for the fries, was the BEST I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back!,

The menu looks good, they have some interesting things. But when I got the burger I was disappointed. The meat was dry and looked pre-formed. I think any decent burger place should make their own patties. The bacon had been cooked previously and had not been reheated, so it was pretty crunchy. The fries were the most disappointing. Half of the had that really hard crunch which means they had probably been cooked, stayed around and were re-fried.

Good cheeseburgers, chocolate shakes and fries. Nice helpful people. Glad we stopped on our way through town. Wait wasn’t bad at all — plus, I’d rather wait a little and know my burger was cooked just for me.

I stopped in there today and while the ambience is nothing to shout about the turkey burger I got there was wonderful. One of the best I’ve had in a long while. It’s a pretty standard hamburger joint with eight or so formica tables and plastic chairs but the burger is what it’s about and this did not disappoint. If you find yourself in Prosser and want a good burger, check it out.

Great little place that reminds me of home. The Little Dude is the perfect crappy little burger and the milkshakes are to die for. The real treat of this place is the seasonal offerings: Deep Fried Asparagus, Fish and Chip, and the fresh Cherry shake. If you are swinging through Prosser and want a quick burger fix, avoid McDonalds and try the Burger Ranch. You might be a little greasier, but also happier.

I live in Prosser(17 yrs) and have tried their food 3 times. The service is allllllways so slow(25 min to cook a burger, really??). Maybe I’ve just got fast food bad luck mojo? Their food is too ‘meh to warrant the wait and staff’s poor attitude. I gave up, which is sad because I strongly believe in supporting local business. If I must have that occasional artery clogging burger(5x yr) I grab one from McD’s where I get what I pay for: cheap, deliciously greasy food fast with blasé attitude :)

Pros: some of the food is really good, like the chicken fajita wrap and the fried asparagus. And the ice cream is great. Cons: very slow service and a long wait. They will also nickel and dime you to death. Example: My child wanted a kids meal with chicken nuggets/curly fries/lemonade. The lady said«no, you can’t get curly fries in a kids meal. Only regular fries or tots.» I offered to pay extra for the curly fries and she said no! I had to buy nuggets(separately) and a small curly fries, which cost more in total than a kids meal but we got no drink. We asked for honey mustard sauce for the nuggets, and she said«no, you can only have ketchup or fry sauce.» what? So she said a little container of honey mustard is 54 cents. I paid it. Then we ordered water(in cups) and were charged… 54 cents per water! Then I ordered chicken fajita wrap and fried pickles. I asked for Ranch to dip the pickles in and was told it was… yep, 54 cents! Okay… We also ordered 2 ice cream cones. Total price for me and my child to eat was $ 24! And we drank water! When we went back up for our ice cream my child said she wanted it in a bowl, not a cone, and we were told«that will be extra for the bowl, 54 cents.» It costs MORE to have it without the cone? At this point I gave up. This is a ridiculous pricing policy. If I am spending 20+ dollars on basically fast food for me and one child, the water, 2 sauces, and bowl should be free.

I ordered a single ranch burger and stole some of my boyfriend’s fries and pepsi. They make krinkle fries the way krinkle fries are MEANT to be made. So delicious! The burger was about average but they toasted the bun which was a nice touch, I did like the special sauce they use. They have a drive thru and indoor seating as well as a small patio. Inside was kind of dirty, didn’t look like they vacuum or wipe the tables often enough. Definitely a good local kind of joint and not for the typical tourist. Their selection of ice cream is superb! They serve Glacier Ice Cream, I got the cake batter and it was good, but not nearly as good as Tillamook. Also 99 cents for a bag of ice is pretty good — it kept them quite busy on a hot day. Looks like they do a lot to support the community and the girls who were working there at the time were friendly.

Good standard cheeseburgers, good shakes, and great deep fried asparagus. This place really hits the spot after a few glasses of wine! I little pricey for what it is, but I’d rather eat here the some chain like McDonald’s!

Best deep fried asparagus and onion rings! The Burger Ranch is a Prosser historical landmark practically. I grew up eating delicious burgers and fries here and I love sharing that with my own kids when I am in town.

4 stars is on the basis of their milk shakes. best milkshake you will ever have in your entire life i promise! Ive had lots of milkshakes in my lifetime but none beat this place. Burger is nothing special. Deep Fried asparagus is excellent fry sauce is best around as well. not 5 stars because you will wait… and wait… and wait some more.

Burger was just OK. We were on the wine tour in prossor and hungry. Neat little burger joint but nothing special with those burgers. They sell ice cream which would be another reason to stop in.

There was a wait when I came in, because one person was cooking, and one person was on the phone. They were very friendly, and the huckleberry ice cream was delicous. The prices were reasonable, and the place was clean. They had a great deal for students and staff, but I don’t qualify, so I didn’t even ask. The food came fairly quickly after ordering, but it doesn’t seem like it spent any time under a heat lamp waiting for me to show up.

I grew up in Prosser, born and raised. My friends and I would go in and order a bag of burgers. For three or four growing boys that was plenty food for us. It comes with ten of their little burgers and half a pound of fries. The burgers are plain, but you can add stuff to them. I believe they raised the prices though. Used to be 15 for bacon and all that. Summer days weren’t complete without us all pooling our money together to get a bag of burgers. I remember one day we went in and ordered two of them. The girl at the grill couldn’t believe what she was hearing. It was so funny, but we did have to feed seven teenagers that day. Not something you should go out of your way for. The food is good, if the teen working the grill knows what they are doing anyway. But it is a fast food joint, so you go in gambling with the quality of your grilled food. The strawberry mountain dew is good, if you like strawberries and mountain dew that is.

This place has the BEST shakes… They have probably a million different choices and they are so thick and yummy… it makes me long for summers in the Valley. I like to go for the kids meal for a hang over. You can choose from anything from a corndog to a cheeseburger as your main dish and it comes with fries and you can substitute the drink for a shake for around 50 cents. It also comes shoved into a cool cardboard carrier shaped like a car. Also, when the season is right, you can get deep fried asparagus and zucchini which is always a local favorite. Seating is limited indoors and they have outdoor seating but it isn’t covered and summers in the Valley are excruciatingly hot so the tables don’t get used much.

What a fantastic little burger joint! Prices are great for the portion of food you can get. The menu has a lot to choose from. Plus they have so many hard icecream choices. I wish I would have still been hungry after my burger and fries to have the chocolate peanutbutter flavor. I’m salivating just thinking about it! The staff is super friendly. The lady running the cash register was helpful with giving us the best deal and chatted with us while the food was cooking. One of the only downsides to this place is the fact that there is hardly any indoor seating. They do have outdoor seating but what good is that going to be when it’s raining and snowing during the winter?
