Long gone are my days of walking through the mall every weekend. Hey I have a real job now and A. I don’t have time to walk through the mall even though I am nostalgic for those days that I had time to do that B. I don’t have the money to spend even if I wanted to! Nonetheless I found myself shopping online one day and purchasing something that didn’t quite fit… obligating me to pay a visit to the physical store. Life is hard! I am reading some of the reviews below. Wow people are angry! I actually had a pretty decent experience here with people greeting me as soon as I walk through the door, helping me with my return and quickly ushering me into the dressing room without having to wait. I found the store to be well kept. Apparently the company as a whole has been on the move to remove all shirtless photos to either be more classy or trying to change their image. Either way, it’s a pretty different feel now. The«sexiness» has been removed. Still the same clothes but I think their overall ambience has changed. Good or bad, I’m not sure myself but their clothes continues to be on the expensive side but at least pretty decent quality.

The worst retail«service» I’ve experienced in I don’t know how long. Over 15 minutes to get someone to open the dressing room(on a Monday afternoon — barely anyone in the store). Then the sales clerk couldn’t figure out how to get my gift card to work, and refused to call corporate to figure it out. Just told me to call myself or pay without using it. When I asked for the clerk’s name he refused, and then refused to give me his manager’s name(corporate policy?!). I will drive the extra hour next time to shop at any other A&F than this one.

This A&F occasionally has really good sales. However, the customer service is lacking. I was waiting in line and the two cashiers were talking to one another about another employee. I asked if they were open and they told me to wait a bit and finished their conversation before getting to me and the other lady in line.

Writing a review for this place is not hard. Prices are what you expect: regular, boring clothes at prices that don’t match how boring they are. Like almost EVERY other clothing store in the mall, they have the wardrobe staples. However, I would advise those smarter shoppers to look around before they enter this store. Don’t let the half-naked poster lure you into the gas chamber of a store(seriously, I almost suffocated going in there. That smell just HITS you). Buckle, Fossil, Macy’s, Nordstrom, True Religion, Old Navy, DSW… there are so many more affordable options(and I am 100% sure your shopping experience will be more pleasant at these other places(give or take a few stores)
