East Side Creamery And Pizzeria

I really, really hope this stays successful — and open. Good food, great ice cream, and an awesome owner make this a hot place for the East Side. (To say nothing of how much better it is than it was during its previous ownership — night and day!)

Y’all. They have Allie’s Donuts! and breakfast all day! Super friendly staff. Great spot.

Love their salted caramel & pretzel ice cream. I usually grab the kiddie size since the portions are generous. Always friendly service, family owned business with ever expansing menu. A solid choice for ice cream on the east side and open later than most places in the area!
Come here for dessert after a meal nearby on Ives or after grabbing some wine at Madeira’s :)

I love living a hop, skip, and a jump away from this place! First and foremost, the interior is so cute! I’m diggin’ all the colorful decorations. The service is really great too, everyone who works there is super nice. Try the cacoila sandwich, it comes on a Portuguese roll and is delish!

I’ve tried the ice cream flavors of the local ice cream shops of the different places I’ve travelled to and none of those shops (except Smitten) have ever wowed me more than this place. This place has some of the best flavors I’ve ever tasted in my life! They also have a generous serving for the price you pay for. Go try the Graham Central Station if you ever pass by! It’s soooooo good!

I’m digging it! They’re affordable and have a great selection. I had the black raspberry chocolate chip frozen yogurt, which was delightful (but a tad too sweet), and the coffee Oreo, which was like magic in my mouth.
Lincoln creamery will always be my favorite, but this is a great contender! And it feels off the beaten path because it’s in a cute neighborhood. The staff is super friendly and helpful – the woman who helped us pushed down the ice cream to squeeze in extra — this doesn’t go unnoticed, my friend! I went and had the 12 inch steak and cheese sandwich, and it was very good! Tasty, and pretty cheap. I had «the works», so it included most if not all of the available toppings.
In the future, I don’t think i’m gonna get tomato on the sandwich, but that’s really a personal preference, there wasn’t anything wrong with the tomato.
Everyone was very friendly as well.

I loved the original creamery — and was very sad when they moved to Florida — but the new place is just as good!
Best sandwiches on the east side. I just ordered a meatball and sausage sub, and an Italian with the works. Fresh bread & big portions, just like before.

Looks like they are just getting started (ice cream and sandwhiches for now), but so far, everything seems to be going well. The sandwiches and bread are very good (though, they’re about a $ 1 more expensive than I would like.). They also have a great ice cream selection — perfect spot to stop on a summer or fall night.
I am looking forward to when they start serving breakfast and hopefully some affordable dinner options (and perhaps some Del’s lemonade?).

East Side Creamery gets it. Delicious, inexpensive, huge portions of ice cream — all served with a smile. What’s more, they know their neighborhood and give back to the patrons who love them in return.
P. S. Try Graham Central Station… it’s a great house specialty!

Super clean and VERY friendly service. Try the homemade chocolate chip cookies made by the aunt. Ice cream is solid Bliss offerings. I will be back to try the homemade cacoila or bifanna Portuguese sandwiches!

Graham Central Station ice cream is my kryptonite, I could eat a swimming pool full of it, I’m so happy this place is open again. They’re serving up a small sandwich menu right now but will have the full kitchen open on August 1^st according to the owner. Super excited this place is back in business.

Under new ownership. We went after trivia at Fat Belly’s on Wednesday night. We could use something sweet and this was the only place open after 10. The owner served us and was very friendly. He offered us several free samples and made suggestions of what we might like. If you came in the past, they have extended the hours and also plan to add a kitchen with things like fries and chicken fingers. We will be back!

This is a great place with a great menu. I am hooked on their sundaes! It’s owned and operated by a very friendly family that know what they are doing and always greet you with a smile. Besides ice cream, sherbet, banana splits and other sweet goodies they have an expanding menu of Portuguese sandwiches. If you are in Providence you should check them out.

Just got back from a stroll to East Side Creamery. The location is adorable and shaded from the summer sun. The inside is clean and well kept. I love being able to see the ice cream in the case when picking it out, East Side did not disappoint here.
Our small size ice creams were anything but small with generous scoops. The cotton candy ice cream reminded me of my childhood. Delicious and creamy. The swirls of pink and blue always make me happy. My boyfriend’s soft serve with jimmies was silently devoured. It takes a good soft serve to quiet that man.
We sat outside on the sidewalk. The tables were clean and hanging flowers were overhead. The people watching on Ives Street is always an added bonus.
I presume it was the owner who served us. He was extremely pleasant, welcoming, and knows how to serve a good scoop of ice cream.
Why don’t other ice cream shops have credit card machines? This was a welcome surprise since I hate carrying cash. A clean bathroom to boot. Really, what’s not to love about this local business? We will certainly be back and can’t wait to try some of their savory offerings.

We LOVE East Side Creamery! My partner and I live nearby and were so sad to see it close earlier this year. Where would we get late night pints of graham central station?!
Needless to say we were so happy to see it reopen recently. I’ve been twice since the reopening now and it’s been a great experience both times. The new management is friendly and helpful – try any flavor. They revamped the place so the floors and walls are cleaner than ever and the shop really sparkles. But same great flavors and kind, prompt service. I’ve loved the salted caramel pretzel, the moose tracks, and of course the graham central station.
Highly recommend for your next ice cream fix!

A great place to get some ice cream and food. Me and my friends always come here for the great sandwiches and pizza. They give a generous amount of food for a great price!

Delicious, clean, and very reasonably priced. Great, enthusiastic management. They just opened and I’ve already been back four times! I had a dream about their graham central station the night after I had it. Their chocolate milkshakes are especially delicious though. Can’t wait for the kitchen to open!
