I grabbed takeout here when I was desperately in the mood for fish and my companion wanted pizza. Obviously one of the sit-​down places on Thayer wouldn’t do! Gemini is an odd duck, but seems from my experience like a solid choice. It’s odd because it looks like a pub/​bar, but isn’t obnoxiously loud or playing loud music, and serves a mix of dishes from thai, japanese, chinese, italian, french, and russian cuisines… plus cocktails… odd, right? They do sit down either at the bar or in restaurant seating, but they also do orders to go and apparently have membership cards for discounts.
