I came here to get my wisdom teeth removed. The staff here is very friendly. Dr. Kaplan was knowledgeable and listened to my situation. They were able to fit me into their schedule very quickly. The procedure was quick and painless with just novicaine… no nitrous oxide. Overall, I loved my wisdom tooth removal experience. I highly recommend Dr. Kaplan.

I had a very risky wisdom tooth removal done here. One of the wisdom teeth was sitting on a nerve. He took the time the explain everything to me. He was careful to explain the different methods of sedation and the risk associated. He told me that he could do my removal with laughing gas (which saved me a bit of money). He said laughing gas feels like you had a few glasses of wine… I would say that’s pretty accurate. I had all 4 removed and lived to write this review. No dry sockets or any complications like that. If you’re diligent about leaving the gauze on and rinsing when your suppose to I think that helps. He was confident but not over confident in his abilities. He told me the number of clients who ever had complications and its extremely low and complications were minimal. He had one assistant who was there to pretty much hold your hand if you needed that. Haha and I did even at 28… I’m a big baby!
Tip: If you get the laughing gas bring your own Mp3 player of music. The commercials are long on the radio and you don’t really want to hear whats happening. It will all be over before you know it! If you go to the office your will feel immediately less nervous when you see all the thank you notes and letters on the wall.

I went to Dr. Kaplan on a referral from my general dentist to have my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Kaplans office is warm and welcoming. When you enter the door, you feel like you are going into someone’s home. His front desk receptionist and insurance specialist are the first people you seeing. Both are friendly and work hard to give you the service you need. The office is clean and the décor is comforting. In the waiting room letters from patients fill the walls. Each one is a letter of praise to Dr. Kaplan and his staff.
Dr. Kaplan himself is a very warm and generous doctor. I felt very comfortable and relaxed with both him and his hygienist who was present during my surgery. The whole time I was having my wisdom teeth removed the hygienist held my hand. Dr. Kaplan routinely check on me durring the procedure and made sure I wasn’t feeling anything and that I was okay. I didn’t have any anesthesia except for lots of numbing shots in my mouth and a little laughing gas. I had headphones on listened to my iPod the whole time, which was a nice distraction since having your teeth pulled out of your face can be rather traumatic.
Afterwards, Dr. Kaplan himself explained all my instructions to me and my husband and made sure I was okay. I never once felt rushed. Dr Kaplan and his staff made my feel like I was their only patient. He told me if there was ANYTHING I needed AT ALL that he would make sure it was taken care and and that he would even come in on the weekend if I had complications.
I will always be thankful for the warmth and sincerity his office provided. My mouth has healed up perfectly and I’m back to eating all the foods I love.=!
