My wife and I were recommended to Jason Matron by a colleague. Jason has been a certified personal trainer for 6 years and recently opened up his studio. From our first workout with Jason, we knew he was EXACTLY what we would need to deliver results. Jason develops unique workout regimens for each session and modifies them individually for my wife and me. He knows precisely how to push us forward in a motivating manner. His positive attitude in entirely infectious as he guides you through your workout. What I like in particular is how he takes the time to explain why he has selected specific exercises and how he will quantify progress in each one. The gym itself is located inside the recently renovated Providence Steel Yard, just west of Providence Place. He’s equipped the place with everything you need to get your body in shape including free weights, kettle bells, a weight sled, stationary bicycle, rowing machine, treadmill and more. He does individual training, couples, small groups and even runs bootcamps! We went through three trainers in Providence before finding Jason at Little Engine. I speak for my wife as well when I say we couldn’t imagine going on the journey to health and fitness with any trainer other than Jason!
