McDonald’s

It’s a very scary place to be even at 9 o’clock in the morning. There’s a lot of unsavory individuals hanging out in front of the building and at the bus on the street in front of the building. As you trying to driving people around, people kept crossing the street randomly making a true driving hazard. They have two lanes that has a sign that says «any Lane all day every day» however, I was in the outer lane and no one ever came on the loudspeaker to serve me. I had to back out of that lane and go into the first lane where they serve three cars before me although I was already there waiting. Not cool!

I ate here twice, the third time I came back the food is even more Tasteless than anything the food needs some coming they are using too much or less toppings. I’ve asked for a double cheese burger, they make a regular cheese burger Sandwich with one burger and cheese and one pickle, I told her that isn’t what I’ve ordered then she rolls her eyes then went on with whatever conversation they had going. So told her to just refund me and she did and I told myself I’m not coming back again. The lobby filthy the tables are always dirty they have flies flying around by the window the customer service is careless they seems has if though they’re still learning Mcds food or something there food is made sloppy when I thought about using the restroom and I said no I mean if the lobby is filthy what to expect from the bathroom so after i got refund I thought of just going to Wendy’s. I mean the layout and colors are odd for mcds if I wanted a burger again, I wouldn’t even think of this mcds again its right down the street from me.

This is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Granted, I don’t expect a five star experience but there should be some reason that one can rationalize to continue going to a particular establishment that has flaws.
First: the location is horrible. Whenever you pull up you have to navigate through the crackheads and homeless people that harass you out front. Always begging for one thing or another. So you don’t want to eat inside because of the crowd that place draws. You pretty much HAVE to hit the drive thru to get out of there as quickly as possible. I know this isn’t their fault, it’s just that they’re located right down the street from a homeless shelter and in an all around seedy neighborhood.
Second: if you do eat inside, the homeless aren’t the only problem. You better hope their off duty employees aren’t hanging out there, acting a fool, talking over the counter to their friends who are supposed to be working. It’s bad enough the on duty employees are talking all types of nonsense to each other now it’s spilled over into the dining area and become extra annoying. You’d think they’d realize people don’t like coming there and would do their best to give better service. Which brings me to…
Third: the service. The workers act like they couldn’t care less about you or whatever it is that you want. They’re too busy trying to get back to the conversation they were having with their coworkers in the back.
You pretty much get the point… if you want to keep reading I’m giving a specific example of a problem I had recently…
I only went here last night because of the Monopoly promotion going on. I usually have to tolerate this place if I want their food. My final straw came when I went to redeem 3 free food items I collected during the game (2 medium fries and a quarter pounder with cheese).
I knew there was going to be a problem when they asked me how many people were in the car. When I get to the window they explained that only 1 piece can be redeemed per person. I asked when can I come back to redeem the others: can I drive right around or what? They didn’t know a time frame saying «we’ve already seen your face» and that I’d have to come back another day. They also invited me in to read the rules. I declined, got my quarter pounder and went to another McDonald’s further away. There I got the 2 fries… wait for it… AT THE SAME TIME! This location also is much cleaner and had nobody hassling you out front.
If you’re going to site a rule why people can’t do something: KNOW the rule! Don’t sit there making it up as you go. (It’s a 2 hour wait btw).
My problem isn’t with the fact that I couldn’t get all 3 items at the same time. I know each location is independently operated. It’s that this location has NO redeeming qualities (sure they renovated it but I don’t go there for looks). Poor location, poor service, the food? I can get better food at the BK across the street.
I’ve worked in customer service for over 7 years. If you’re going to offer something and have some downsides like this one does, you have to have some reason for people to come there. Instead of renovating they need to demolish this location… I haven’t decided whether the employees should be inside when they do.

Why the hell are you reading this review. It’s a god damned McDonald’s on Broad street.
I literally have a huge 13 inch blade in my car I keep tucked away. Whenever I’m driving here I neatly stick it right next to my seat in case I need quick gladiator moves. Though this «Don Renaldo’s» (McDonald’s) is located in sketch-​ville, and the 7 – 11 down the street has a night security guard for example, I still come here when a girl breaks up with me and I have to eat my troubles away.
Downfall of this place is they’re ‘doing construction’ so no inside seating right now. (Not that you would want to; Please order your food and speed off before your rims are gone.) So there is plastic sheets covering everything and the whole place is torn up, only the drive through is open. Another downside is they don’t serve the McGangBang, which I assumed they would and was sadly disappointed. (An underground menu item of a chicken breast in between 2 patties. Only cool McDonald’s serve it.)
But ya this place is average besides those things. Long lines when the bars close down, and quick service when you’re travelling any other time. They’re only closed between 2−5am, breakfast menu in the AM.
Sometimes they charge you for extra sauce, and sometimes they don’t. All depending how powerful and mighty the window lady feels that day to bequeath your savings of 22 cents or not.
