Why did I not know about Momo earlier? I came here for the first time last week and had THEBEST Taro ice cream ever! I’ve never seen Thai ice cream rolls being made, and I have to say it’s fascinating. I loved it all so much I came back the next day, and it was just as good the second time around. My only complaint is the choice of toppings is a little scant, and I’d prefer chocolate chips to chocolate truffle pieces. This isn’t enough of a deterrent to stop me from coming back, though. If I wasn’t moving from Providence, I’d probably be here every few days!

Best bubble tea in the whole city! I’m so glad I don’t have to go up to Boston for a quality taro milk tea. And their boba is sweet which I don’t come across often(I usually ask for mine without the boba but I really like it here!)

I love Momo! Ive been coming here three times a week for over a month now, haha. Thai style Ice cream has been my obsession. Taro, Mango, strawberry — all fresh fruit, all amazingly delicious and refreshing. And, theyre the only place that has it!

This place is kind of hard to find because they dont have signage outside but look for the corner restaurant if you’re using google maps. They specialize in crepes, bubble tea, and juices. They have crepes ranging from sweet and savory. I wouldn’t describe their crepes as having traditional ingredients at all. In fact the combinations they put together are quite unique. Thats not a bad or good thing, its more depending on personal preference. They also do have your basic ones though like strawberry banana. So it is a place to check out. I tend to go more for their bubble tea. Unfortunately they only have like four flavors. Among those that I have had I would recommend the basic momo milk tea. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the Matcha. It doesn’t hold to the expected flavor at all. All in all, their milk teas aren’t very flavorful. I dont know if they are watering it down somehow too much but they are very eh. The prices aren’t expensive or inexpensive. Its kind of right in the middle. Like you aren’t going to walk away thinking you found a steal nor are you going to regret how much money you threw down. The décor is nice though. Very sleek and modern. They have a few areas for inside seating. No outdoor seating if that is what you are looking for.

Came here for the first time, I’ve been looking for a legit boba tea spot and think this is the one. The best I’ve tried in providence! The design of the place is modern and cool, the passion fruit green tea was great, and boba was also enjoyable. They also have crepes, and some type of ice cream? Can’t wait to try. I would agree with a previous post stating they should add some music, it would do wonders for their ambience. Get the tunes playing and keep serving up delicious treats! Great addition to downtown providence.

Momo makes me want to butcher the Gershwin classic«Summertime» from Porgy and Bess… Summertime and you’re cravin’ good milk tea The service is jumpin’ and the prices are fine Your tastes are niche and you’re feeling quite thirsty So hush, little bebe, don’t you cry The matcha green tea slush here is fly End mental karaōke. Hot taro milk tea and thai rolled ice cream too. Slightly overcooked chewy tapioca balls optional.

Really top notch food here, great quality ingredients. I am a big fan of the Crab and Seaweed Crêpe. They have a large variety of both savory and sweet crepes, all under $ 10. A savory crêpe is more than enough to fill you up for lunch. They also have a rewards system for frequent customers, buy 9 crepes get the 10th free.

Nice new bubble tea spot in Prov. I got the original bubble tea, fresh tapioka and nice flavor. I wish I could customize the sweetness… I will be back for the crepes soon!

Well, I was so dissapointed with the crepes. We got 4 crepes and none of it was good. The crepes were cold and the topping is mediocre. Also, There’s no chairs inside, be ready to stand up. The service were good, I give it that…

I was super happy to find Momo open on this snowy day. The 18 varieties of savory and sweet crepes looked awesome, but I was more in the mood for something to slurp so I went for the matcha milk tea. Momo also offers fried ice cream in a ton of different fruit flavors. My matcha drink was tasty, but I would choose another item if you’re sensitive to sweetness. The tapioca pearls were smaller than I’m used to and slightly overcooked, but I didn’t mind the more mushy texture. Overall I don’t have a strong preference between the bubble tea here and at Teriyaki and Korean House around the corner, but TKH definitely wins on atmosphere. Although Momo is super clean and sleek, there was only one table so I didn’t feel like I could sit around and chill for a while. The prices are very reasonable: a large hot milk tea was about $ 4.25, and a small is $ 1 less. The service is also really friendly; they offered to make me another drink if mine wasn’t hot enough. If they added more seating I wouldn’t hesitate to come down to Momo to hang out with friends or do a bit of studying. Momo is CASHONLY for now, but the guy working there said they should be able to accept credit cards within the next few days, and there’s a(sketchy) ATM in Blake’s Tavern right across the street. Might have compromised my debit card but hey, at least I got my bubble tea fix!

I was so excited to see a new crêpe place downtown, especially located in one of my favorite buildings in PVD. We tried the chicken teriyaki crêpe and it was really good. We also got to attempt solving one of the owner’s puzzles(he has a BUNCH — mostly on display). We were unsuccessful, but it was still fun to try. Eric was super hospitable and they even let us try their fresh batch of green tea ice cream they had just made. I will definitely be back. Really great guys and great food. Highly recommend checking them out!

I really wanted to like this place. The interior was sleek, spotless, modern. We would’ve stayed a while but there was literally no seating so we couldn’t. Upon entering we were offered a sample of a strawberry banana crêpe– pretty good. A wide variety of sweet and savory crepes available at fair prices– all less than 10 dollars– I’d give them a try next time. They also have fried ice cream, though I can’t speak to that. We came in though for the bubble tea which unfortunately was a disappointment. It was a bit odd: they only have whole milk and the hot drinks were served in cold cups? We got the matcha and taro hot milk teas. While the teas themselves were okay, the boba were honestly terrible… So overcooked that they were disintegrating into the tea. There was no chewiness or softness to them– if any substance at all. We were pretty bummed since I was rooting for it to be good. I couldn’t finish it. Maybe it was because it was an hour before closing? Hard to say. The four stars are for the beauty of the interior, the kindness of the staff, and the quality of the free sample I tasted(strawberry banana crêpe). I am also giving them the benefit of the doubt, given how recently they’ve opened(four days). If you’re in the area, give this place a try for the crepes.
