Brunch is terrific at this charming little restaurant. They do a beautiful job with great attention to detail. Beautifully presented food that tastes terrific. We were five, lobster Benedict, Benedict of the day, French toast, and two different omelettes. I had the Boursin, shallot and roasted pepper omelette. I would have to rank it among the best I’ve eaten. I ordered it with a side salad instead of potatoes, the salad was mixed greens and radicchio, fresh like just picked with a light delicious dressing. The Benedicts were piled high, perfect huge poached eggs, mounds of meat(lobster one one, sausage on the other). Bloody Mary delish has well. Next time in P Town, I’m going to try the dinner menu. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Everything on the menu was delicious, great, healthy-portioned cocktails, warm and inviting atmosphere.

We came because of the vegan-friendly menu(with 3 vegans and 1 vegetarian in our party), but we were disappointed. The salads and soup were great, and the cocktails too. But the vegan main, described as a tofu with quinoa and curry sauce on the menu, was served dry, with a non-vegan sauce on the side. We were glad that the butter sauce we were served wasn’t on the tofu, but we were confused as to why the meal labeled«vegan» on the menu was served with a non-vegan sauce — and with no substitutes offered. Ptown isn’t very vegan-friendly, and the tofu was cooked nicely & a good idea — we just really wish it was seasoned & sauced.

Dinner here on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2016, was so terrible that I have to comment. It was the worst food I have ever been served in Provincetown, and I have been coming here since 1975, own a house here since 2005, and managed restaurants and bars in Boston throughout my life. The salad was beautiful, but the dinner entre of baked sole was terribly bad. Served in paper with lemon and vegetables, it should have been awesome. The worst part was there was almost no fish inside the paper and few veggies. And there were whole herb bush stems and lemon wedges like you expect to find hanging on the side of a Bloody Mary. The idea was good, but the execution was offensive. It needed a decent size piece of sole with lemon zest(not cocktail lemon wedges), more veggies, and just the herb leaves without the bark-tasting stems. There are so many better places to have dinner in Provincetown.

My friends and I visited Ptown for Memorial Day weekend and visited twice for breakfast! The homefries are amazing! I had the seafood frittata the first day and lobster benedict the second time. If you like lobster be sure to get the benedict! Two of the best breakfasts I’ve had by far!

Edwige will never be classed with the top restaurants in Provincetown until it improves its beverage game. Red wine served at «room temperature» on an 80-degree day! NOT going to work. Supermarket quality wines on the list? Laziness. Plenty of good wine out there. Oversweet cocktails? We are grownups here — how about just one with some funky, herbal, or otherwise interesting flavors made well and carefully?(Mostly gas station quality beer, too.) Pretty good food here, offered in «demi» as well as full sizes for tasting without overstuffing. Pretty good service. But no game when it comes to the good stuff.

Went here for breakfast with one of my friends since Café Heaven had a crazy long wait. The restaurant was a little crowded when we arrived, but we were able to be seated right away. To start off the meal, we went with the famous poppyseed danish. I do not know if the consistency of the poppyseed sauce was a little off, but I did not really care for this dish too much. There wasn’t a ton of poppyseed flavor and it seemed to be a bit soggy overall. My friend mentioned that it might have been a little overheated, but we still are not sure what went wrong. Thankfully, the rest of the meal was excellent! We split an order of the cajun eggs and the fruit crepes. The cajun eggs were a good-sized portion and had a ton of cheese and sausage in them – if you like a loaded omelette, then this is your place. The fruit crepes were my favorite dish of the morning. Two large crepes stuffed with fresh fruit – blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries… and the list goes on. Needless to say, it was completely delicious. The fruit paired so well with the sauce and the whipped cream on top really pushed this dish to the top. Definitely my new favorite go-to for breakfast in Ptown. Overall, the place has a nice, rustic feel, is not totally overcrowded, and serves up some tasty food at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend making the trip, especially for brunch.

good challah french toast was nice thick and yummy. they have fresh fruit smoothie for breakfast that’s a plus. my omelette was a bit on the bland side… home fries needed a bit of texture for my taste(not to be mistaken for burnt which it was). sole dish passed my better half’s liking. although the portion was right the price point was not.

We were seated promptly at a nice booth in this sweet spot on the second floor. It is a very cute little place. Everything was delicious, except the coffee was a little strong. We especially enjoyed the delightful pancakes with Maine blueberries and real Vermont maple syrup; the challah French toast with extremely fresh fruit, the lobster eggs Benedict with great chunks of lobster and tasty spicy home fries(watch out they come out hot!) and the smoked salmon on a tasty bagel(not as good as NY bagels but it was good enough) with an array of fresh toppings. Service was prompt — food came out 10 minutes after we ordered. The only complaint is that the place is a little cramped, but it’s charming. Would def come again.

Had reservations, when we got there, they said we did not have them. We stay at the Crowne Pointe a few times a year, they made the reservation right in front of me. When we got there one woman was so rude and the other one was trying to help. The mean woman try to sit us outside were hot air was blowing on us. It was about 90* at night. Just terrible. I would not recommend this place so unorganized.

Such a good brunch! The smoothie was expensive($ 7) and small but one of the best smoothies I’ve ever had. The Lobster Benedict was amazing, there was a ton of lobster meat and the sauce was really different and delicious. I went here twice during my time in ptown and the first time I got the seafood frittata which was also good. I was expecting a slice of a frittata but it was actually a person frittata loaded with lobster meat, shrimp, asparagus and a ton of cheese. I will definitely be back here when I come to Ptown next year!

We had dinner at Edwige on a Wednesday night in July 2015. We’ve been coming to Edwige for many summers. The good: The food is excellent and there are always a variety of options on the menu, including for my vegetarian spouse. We’ve also had a very good experience with Sunday brunch at Edwige. The bad: For the second year in a row, the service was horrible. Long periods with no waiter check-in, waving staff down to get water refills, etc. I ordered a soda pre-meal that was delivered after we had finished eating. What made this inexplicable — in both summer 2014 and 2015 — is that there were plenty of staff relative to the number of tables. That said, the food is great. They simply need a consultant to train staff in how to provide great service.

I went here on July 4th with my wife. Surprisingly we had a table just after 5 min of waiting while the usual waiting time at other places in the area at this time is about 90 min. We quickly found out why. There were no burgers or lobster on the menu and the music was some nice chillout house. I guess that would put off the average american tourist. The food was simply amazing. We had the tuna tartar, blackened scallops and grrilled shrimp. All 3 dishes were amazing, each with an interesting twist in the flavors — from the sauce on the scallops to the coconut in the risotto. The service was a bit slow but we weren’t in a hurry anyways and it was the 4th. Overall a great hidden jewel in an overly American cuisine Cape Cod.

Let me first state that my server was EXCELLENT. Really. He was so attentive and professional and warm. I wish I knew his name. So impressed. Let me also state that I did not express my dissatisfaction with the food to him, probably because I wanted so much to enjoy my night. Probably because I’m a coward at times. I don’t know. But the food… so not worth it, especially if you’re used to seeing great reviews like these and expecting a memorable night out. Please remember that PTown is a tourist spot, and thus the bar for good food is set significantly lower. I had mushroom crepes to start, and the special — a scallop dish with veg — for my entrée. The crepes were fine, but they should have cost $ 8, not $ 12. They were mediocre in flavor. There was a small garnish of good hot sauce on the side of the plate, but overall the crepes were too thick, the mushrooms were not salty enough, and the burrata hardened as fast as microwaved cheddar on nachos. Basically, it was okay. The scallops, on the other hand, were not okay. I was served a dish with four small scallops that were incredibly dry. I mean bad.(Kitchen: how did that happen???) The veg was totally fine, sure, except for the fact that I easily make something similar at home for very little money or buy half-pints of similar sides from the local Cuban deli at home in NYC for $ 3.50. Who really goes out to dinner on Friday night, orders seafood, and is happy to be served a cup of lima beans, corn and peppers? I don’t care about the fried squash or whatever on top; would you have been happy with being served that dish, chef? Congratulations on seasoning them well? Simple food like this is great when it’s in the right genre. Had this been a casual lunch entrée, served for $ 16 or so, that would have been fine. But for nearly $ 30 as the dinner special, I so intensely regret coming here. It really made me feel sad. I’m still sad. I think I need to go out for a drink in order to cheer myself up! If you care about good food, I would avoid Edwige. Even if I was there on an off-menu month/off-special night, I still would encourage you to find food that won’t leave you wondering why you spent so much money on an unmemorable meal.

A fine place for brunch and other meals. The food is done just right and is delicious. The various kinds of eggs, — Cajun, Portuguese, etc. — the sole, lobster eggs Benedict, sausages, were equally good, making selection difficult but a pleasure. The bloody Mary’s are as good as the best. A pleasant rustic dining room — a nice size. The service is excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. Good value. Well worth a visit. It is advisable to book a table if four or more people are dining especially in the season and on weekends.

We came to Edwige and the Angry Inch for brunch on a Sunday before a wedding down in Falmouth. A Sunday wedding? Cheap friends? Yeah, I guess so. But whatever. It was fine and anyone who complains that much about a Sunday wedding either has a drinking problem or job with too restrictive of a vacation policy. Edwige and the Angry Inch has a great menu. Even aesthetically speaking, it’s a great menu. They’ve got all kinds of things that I wanted to order. I ended up getting the Mediterranean something or other. It was amazing. I also saw and ate some of the Portuguese scramble. Also amazing. It’s a tiny little place and it gets a little breezy with the doors and windows open. We had a waitress that had some interesting body odors going on. That might be a –0.5 star right there. Stinky pits. Get that checked. Also, the bathroom is so small that I am pretty sure that I was leaning my head on the wall in front of me as I sat on the toilet. I appreciate the head holder, but a little more room would have been better. Maybe that’s why it is called Edwige and the Angry Inch. Or maybe it is just called Edwige. Or maybe both.
