Wow– this used to be one of my favorite places to eat and drink. We went back this week for the first time this year. They have a completely different menu. Very small and not many choices. Their drinks are still good but I don’t understand why they would change such a great menu. The next few days every time we walked by we noticed a much smaller crowd. It’s a great place to grab a drink and people watch. Disappointed they changed the menu.

What a fun spot. Super views, dog friendly, creative food menu and of course a killer drink menu. We stopped in at 12:30 today, Father’s Day and enjoyed a lovely brunch. We shared an Arugula Frittata and each had a refreshing rosé sangria. Our waiter was wonderful. Our doggie loved her shady camp under our table. LOVED our meal!

The ambiance is really nice, an outside bar with vines growing on the walls. Bartender was friendly and recommended some of his favorite drinks. We ordered the chicken wings, and being from the Buffalo area of NY we were pleasantly surprised. Not the best I’ve had but I enjoyed them.

A little oasis in the middle of commercial St! Great food(innovative, simply well done-try the octopus a la plancha and the cauliflower carbonara), great service and great atmosphere. Did I mention the great beer selection? Apparently the chef changed up the menu drastically this year and boy, exactly what we have been looking for after a lunch of generic fried seafood.

Atmosphere is incredible. Amazing selection of food and great beers. Right off commercial st where all the action is. Wish this place was in my backyard.

Without a doubt the highlight of my brief(first) visit to Ptown. From the delightful Bulgarian host, to the excellent bar service from the knowledgeable bartender(and that voice, dear Jesus), it was a wonderful experience all around. Oh, and you need to have the Manchega cheese plate — awesome!

We stopped in to take a break from the strong sun. It is a petite but pretty atmosphere. I appreciate that you ARE outside, you feel outside, but between the foliage and canopy from the bar you are well shaded if you want to be. Cocktails are interesting and strong. We had the best French 75 ever. We also ordered shishito peppers and hot wings. The music selection is offbeat and just adds to the enjoyment. This is a great little spot. My only comment would be I wish the menu just had a few more selections on it. Just a few.

This is a great little mainly outdoor bar in Provincetown ma. Excellent bartenders, great beer, cool cocktails, and a birds eye view for the eclectic P-town scene. As a straight married guy I felt very comfortable sitting there chatting it up with locals. Great experience.

Pros: Great beer selection, great cocktails, and good service. Can’t beat the location and atmosphere. Cons: Food. I had a special kimchi fried rice. It was actually pretty good, but it was a small portion and I basically paid $ 17 for rice sauteed with kim chi. The finance’s fish tacos were incredibly bland(no flavor at all) and the tortilla was flimsy and kept falling apart. The fries were undercooked. The clam chowder was above average though. The food here absolutely has potential and with some more seasoning could be excellent! I recommend coming here for some great beers and cocktails and the people watching, and perhaps try an app or two to get a sense if the food is up your alley.

Nice outdoor space. Nice servers. But food is way below par. Fish tacos, grilled romaine salad not good at all. Also saw wait person squeezing lemon into drinks with bare hands. Yikes!

Really ok food. Liked the fried shishito peppers, loved the fish tacos(although they should DEFINITELY at least offer corn tortillas rather than bland, partly-crispy flour). Service was prompt for drinks, but then fell way off. Our server, S., seemed quite disinterested or disorganized. He must have forgotten to place our food order, as we were there over 1.5h before our food arrived. As 2 tables of 4, our teenagers at one table were quite hungry, and we grew impatient as parties around us came and went. I must admit I was enjoying the drink(Maxymillian) and company. But 1.5h is ridiculous. Not a way for a small pub to make money or please customers. Certainly the manager should have noticed two tables not turning over in such a small est. Another snub came when one of us asked for bread early on, S. told us there was none. We then saw the adjacent table receive a basket of bread about 15 min later. This prompted one of our party to get up and seek out the manager. So, decent food. Good, in fact. Great beer selection. Great environment. They have 75% of the equation for success. But without good wait-service The Nor’Easter eludes a recommendation.

Gah. I’m so torn. Despite being our favorite destination on our recent daycation to Provincetown, I KNOW that this place can do better and maybe they don’t need to, but I really wish they would. For starters, my husband and I popped in post-lunch rush and asked to be seated at the bar(they ask you to check in with host, even for bar seats). We then proceeded to sit at the bar for 10 plus minutes before getting the bartender’s attention. In his defense, he was making a bunch of involved looking cocktails but several servers clearly noticed that we were still waiting and I guess I would have appreciated if they had let the bartender know we were there, and then if would have given us a nod of acknowledgement or something. But that didn’t happen. We ordered a round of beers and the shishito peppers. The peppers came out quickly and were quite delicious. I could have eaten 100 more of them. We decided to try another destination out, but after a lackluster experience, we returned for more beers. This time, we ordered a burger to accompany our beers. Unfortunately, I found the burger to be very disappointing. I added both bacon and onion jam to the burger and the onion jam was completely undetectable other than noticing it’s presence when I flipped the burger top over. The bacon was fine but it was one piece and for a buck, I would have wanted at least one more. The burger itself was a tad overcooked despite my ordering it medium-rare and the bun was dry and flavorless. I also went with the slaw over the fries and that was a huge mistake. It was pretty generic and there was very little of it on the plate. I immediately regretted ordering the slaw over the fries. Our service was better the second time around, but like I said, there is a lot of room here for better. The place is visually beautiful with the lush foliage and the flowers, man those flowers are gorgeous! It is a tad cramped but it’s a popular place and I can see they want to accommodate as many people as possible. Work out these details and you will be a 5-star establishment for sure!

Absolutely beautiful dining space and a lovely, sweet hostess were not enough to overcome the so-so food and the unacceptably rude and indifferent server. After being seated by the hostess who was very accommodating on a busy Friday night, our server came by to take our drink order and disappeared for the first of countless times that evening. After finally delivering our, very tasty, drinks we were able to place our order. While the charcuterie board was delivered quickly, it was literally dropped on our table, without any explanation as to what was in front of us. The bartender was kind enough to provide us with cutlery and napkins when we asked(we had none on our table and couldn’t get server’s attention) because our server was too busy flirting with the table of men a few tables away. The Board was just OK and we literally had no clue what we were consuming. My boyfriend’s fish tacos were really delicious but the fish and chips I ordered were too heavily breaded and soggy. The flavor was good, but the texture was not great. Well into our entrees and almost finished with our meals, our waiter freed himself from flirting and asked how everything was and asked«want anything else?». Unfortunately for him, we ordered another drink(almost more to tick him off) and he was clearly annoyed. I believe our experience would have been vastly different had we sat at the bar or in another server’s section, but based on our visit, this was a 2 experience.

Wonderful dining experience from the hostess greeting us and to our attentive waiter. Food was excellent as we enjoyed the fettuccine special and fish/chips. Would highly recommend! Order a John Daly if your not a beer drinker!

Great lil pub with great pub food. Good things: irish nachos were great appetizer, i could eat the homemade sour cream for days. I asked for a tub of it to dip my nachos in and also so i could put it on my burger. Its that good and fresh. My hamburger was very fresh and every bite i was stoked. The fish came in one HUGE piece. Very moist. Very flaky. Very thick piece of fish. Awesome selection of pints ! Staff was very friendly and helpful when i asked em to play some different music lol. Bad things: its a lil pricey. If u want a burger you are charged for a slice of cheese, an onion, basically u get meat and bread on the burger and are charged for anything else. So go for the food. Give em a try. Hats off to the chef and crew there.

They have a great taplist and its surprisingly cheap considering the location. The bartenders aren’t the best in the world, but this is a tourist town so I wasn’t really expecting great bartenders. The entirely outdoor location is what puts it completely off the charts. They also pour BBC Coffeehouse Porter correctly, which I’ve found isn’t always the case.

It looks ideal and is the type of place you want to like, but… Something went down in the kitchen that night and it got away from them, it took at least 45 minutes for our dinner to arrive and it wasn’t good at that. The waiter was very proactive and kept coming by our table and others to apologize for the wait. He even comp’d me a second vodka tonic without my even asking. Problem was, they don’t use Schweppes or some other commercial tonic like the rest of the world but they make their own. He did tell me that when I ordered the drink(sort of dumb of me to not order beer in a beer garden restaurant but I felt like a drink) the tonic was home made. Let’s just say tonic water making should be left to others as it tasted really weird(who knows, maybe they make their own vodka too) and I didn’t even want a second one.

I always wanted to try this place because it looked festive and outdoors and the menu look interesting. The bartender was somewhat friendly and attentive at first but clearly came off as forced and she wasn’t really enjoying interacting with people… more like tolerating. I ordered the grilled romaine salad and my friend ordered a bowl of french fries for an appetizer. For dinner we both order the fish and chips but my friend likes his fish«well done» so he requested that. The French Fries cooked crispy as requested were good but they were just French Fries after all. The grilled romaine salad was disappointing and plain… pretty much lettuce and mayonnaise… not good ie since they say they had shaved pecorino and fried anchovies… ummm nope… tasted just like mayonnaise to me… no one even asked if I wanted ground pepper… just dumped in front of me and left. When the meal came… delivered by a girl who was clearly frazzled who acted as a server and also cleaning up the tables besides we asked which fish was well done and she had no idea and no one else could seem to tell us otherwise. It turned out that both fish were exactly the same… hard and overcooked on the outside… kinda like a crispy brick and a little undercooked on the inside. The french fries with the fish and chips were soggy and limp. The place is cute and great location but once you get inside it’s all down hill. I will never go back

An otherwise 4 star review had to be docked because of annoyingly slow service when the bar wasn’t even crowded. A+ for having Brooklyn Brewing Sorachi Ale on tap. Also, strawberry rhubarb ale? How seasonal. They have a pretty good rotating draft list here, but service is at a snail pace and mixed drinks aren’t very good — at least the rosemary-grapefruit martini. I’m a sucker for fresh grapefruit juice(which they claim is in the drink) but I’m assuming it was some from-concentrate Ocean Spray. I know, it’s a beer garden but they tout an extensive specialty cocktail list that sucked me in before going for the brews. Otherwise, as mentioned before, the beer list is pretty stellar and changes daily. Hard to find Jolly Pumpkin Oro De Calabaza in CT, ESPECIALLY on draft(don’t think they distribute there) so it was a joy to drink it at the beer garden. I’d come back if I wasn’t in a rush for a dinner reservation and could just hang out and relax without the slow service getting me down.
