sort of hidden in a two story little shopping center. great place to go on a cold or rainy evening or afternoon in Provincetown. two films being shown were a bit off the beaten path and edgy. go here. seemed like more adults than anything else.

Great Art House Cinema. Great place to spend a rainy day in P’town. They show great new indie films that normally show in the big city.

This is a lovely little cinema with great selections of Indy movies and documentaries. Great for rainy days too or catch that movie you’ve been wanting to watch.

Quaint, small theater in the center of town with a screen about the size of my tv. Nice staff and good popcorn makes up for the small size! No stadium seating here so be sure not to sit behind someone too tall! Tip: if you have to go to the bathroom, you have to walk in front of the screen. try to go first and not drink much! No way to be discrete in here.

Ignore the other review on here. In Provincetown we are lucky to even have a theater. The people behind The Waters Edge Cinema as well as the Provincetown International Film Festival work their butts off and they do a great job. We might not have IMAX(where would we put it?), but I love the cinema enough that we’ve decided to join as members purely to support their efforts. I love that they bring in lots of independent films as well as a few Hollywood blockbusters. The main theater is very cozy and yes, I’ll admit the second screening room leaves a bit to be desired. That being said, I’ve heard rumors they’re getting ready to redo the second screening room.
