What can I say about Cracker Barrel? The food is really good when they have it. This is the second time in a week that I have come for the meatloaf and they have been out both times. Tonight we arrived over an hour before close and last week was 2 hrs before close. The waiter told me they ran out over an hour ago. What a let down. Best mac and cheese in town though. The manager should see the trend of «shortage of food» 2 hrs before close and at least make 1 more meatloaf. Someone next to me just asked for meatloaf as well and was turned down. What’s going on manager?

Love the fire crackling and the country atmosphere, love the country store. Everyone is super friendly. Got an extra biscuit when my daughter swiped mine. Food tastes great and is served pretty quickly. I just love cracker barrel, it’s great!

Not the best tasting food and they don’t trim the meats properly. There is always fat and grisle on the meats, way more than usual.

Wow. Just WOW. I can’t believe this. In the past Cracker Barel has been amazing. But this time it was awful. OURSERVERSUCKED!!! She barely paid enough attention to us to say anything until it was time for the tip then and only then did she actually smile and say«thank you, be sure to tip generously» seriously you barely spoke two words this entire time and now you ask us to tip generously. Other bad things she did: 1. Got upset when I asked for some pancakes. If you don’t want to have to have someone make us breakfast then don’t give us the breakfast menu 2. Never refilled our drinks. The place was kinda full but not full enough to warrant that. Refill the drinks! 3.(My biggest complaint) whined actually whined when my grandpa asked(very politely) to have an other steak. He asked for a medium and they gave us a rare. 4. Made us wait 35 minutes for our food. All the while she was in the bathroom(my aunt saw her in there) This is my least favorite C.B. go to ever. Stay away

The food was great and so were the wait staff. I would definitely come back. The retro games on the table are a nice touch. The mac and cheese was SO good. Kid friendly.

I had been driving all day and I had a splitting headache. I wanted a quiet dinner and a glass of wine. I got neither. The tables are very close together. When I arrived there was a couple seated next to me at a table for four. When they left they seated a party of six at the table(for 4). They made no effort to accommodate that party and no consideration that I was sitting about 8″ away. The party of 6 eventually walked out about the same time I finished eating. I do not know if it is Cracker Barrel, Pueblo or Colorado but no beer or wine on the menu. I was offered Root Beer as a substitute. I will never eat at a Cracker Barrel again.

Have to agree about lousy service. Decided that a to-go order over the phone would be a good remedy. Nope! Gotta be there to point at the menu so waitress doesn’t get confused. After I asked for the bread that the menu says comes with it I was reprimanded for ordering the wrong thing. Hmmm. The manager was equally pleasant offering no substitute or apology. Sorry Cracker Barrel but this location is giving the other locations a bad rep.

When I first walked in I thought to myself, now this is a place that Ron freakin Swanson would want to eat breakfast… and then my «thick cut» bacon showed up, more like regular thin weak bacon that looked like it came from a starved pig from the icy fields of Siberia. It is a shame to every man in America nay the world to call this thick cut bacon, real Americans who built this country with their blood and sweat are rolling in their graves while babies are crying knowing they live in a world where this kind of bacon is passed off as thick cut. That being said the rest of my breakfast was acceptable if only we didn’t have to wait an hour for our food. Men be warned, if your looking for a breakfast that Ron Swanson, Chuck Norris, and hulk Hogan would approve of, this is not it. Merica!

Decent store, above-average food, staff nice, for the most part will be back only to pick up, not nine in. Staff slow to clean up tables, refill anything needing to read the refill, have to ask for stuff that should be argued on the table. Grade C–

We couldn’t find too many spots in Peublo that we really enjoyed eating at so we ended up at this Cracker Barrel twice. Our first trip for dinner was just fair. It was not too busy, but the service was below par. We had to wait a very long time for refills and requests. The food was fine. A few days later we stopped in for breakfast. Our server Jessica was much more attentive and on the ball. Our food came out in a timely manner and tasted as expected. Probably just depends on how good the servers is and when you go.

When traveling around the country, about the only thing that looks more inviting than a Wal-Mart(for a much needed«rest stop»), or a Holiday Inn, is a Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Cracker Barrel’s are pretty much a cookie-cutter operation whichever one you stop at; same nostalgic storefront, same layout, same food. The service is usually prompt, although a little slow at this locale. I was finished with breakfast and about ready to leave when the waitress finally showed up to refill my coffee(only my 2nd cup — not good). The breakfast was good, as always, however: 1) I’d asked for my eggs«hard scrambled» and they were still a bit loose, 2) the biscuits were dry — like they were from the previous day, and 3) I never got the grits that normally comes with what I always order. With those exceptions, the rest of my breakfast was okay. The star, for me always, is the bacon; thick, crisp and delicious. My wife really liked the multi-grain pancakes she had. I tasted them and they were quite good, with crisp edges on the cakes. Well done. Whenever the opportunity presents itself, we will always stop at a Cracker Barrel. There are so few«minuses» that could ever persuade us not to.

For all the reasons folks like these over salted, overgreased chains, I just had to weigh in on a restaurant that I really think is worthy of a low rating. I have eaten here twice, and nothing against this particular location, I just think the food is: oversalted and over greasy. Sometimes cheap is not a bargain. Even for basic eggs and sausage, there are many better places to go.

My wife and I were able to eat dinner here for the two of us(2 entrees, 2 drinks and a shared slice of pie) for just under 20 bucks. Great value here, and the food(while not 100% perfect) is good typical American food. They aren’t afraid of butter or cheese. The atmosphere is fun as well and the shop attached next to the restaurant is full of all sorts of interesting things.(Fun to browse after a big meal.) Not gourmet, but fun and tasty. We’ll be back!
