Loved my experience here! Karen was attentive, knowledgeable, and so friendly! She was not pushy about products like some salons can be. The inside of Jenny’s is adorable! It’s clean, bright, open! I also really like that you can make appointments online. My hair looks and feels great. I will be recommending this salon and Karen!

This place is the best; I’ve been going to Jenny for my cut and color since 2011. I absolutely recommend Jenny for all color and cut needs. She’s extremely professional and knows all the new trends and styles. Highly recommend her and love her! The whole staff is amazing!

I was surprised to hear that I could be seen the same day I called to make an appointment, even though it was already mid-​afternoon. I’ve been looking for a good stylist for quite a while and now I found Jenny-​she is awesome!!! She was very friendly and efficient and knew what she was doing. I love my new look!!! I will definitely come back!!!

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with Jenny’s Salon. I had hired her for my wedding day to do my hair and 4 bridesmaids. I had made it clear that we had to be finished by 2pm in order to make it to the venue, and therefore had to start between 10 and 10:30. At 11 Jenny still hadn’t arrived and hadn’t called. I called her and when she called me back I told her that we had all been waiting for her for an hour and that we would have appreciated a call when she knew she would be late. She became very confrontational and said she would call when she was leaving, not that she had agreed to be there by that time (I have it in writing that she would be there no later than 10:30).
They arrived by 11:15 with large Starbucks coffees and by the time she was ready to start it was 11:30, although she assured us she would be done well before 2. At 2pm only one bridesmaid was finished. At this point she started rushing to get everyone done and became very short and rude. She actually told me that she didn’t care how my hair looked. At 3:15 we finally finished.
I understand that timing doesn’t always go as you want it on your wedding day, but I was fairly astounded at how rude she was to me and my entire wedding party. She never once apologized or tried to act professional. I spent more of the morning feeling stressed out about how to deal with her instead of getting ready. She may be affordable but I don’t think it’s worth that amount of stress on your wedding day.

Cozy and comfortable salon? Check.
Easy to talk to, caring stylist? Check.
DC style at Round Hill prices? Check.
Check. Check. Check.
Jenny rocks. Every time I go somewhere else I regret it… but Jenny, with her mad skills and great attitude simply gets it right. Go.

I heart Jenny. She is the best stylist that I have ever had. I’m so glad that she has opened her own salon. I constantly get compliments on my color and cut — she is truly a master in her field. If you have tried the rest — take a trip to the country and have your hair done by Jenny. You will NOT be disappointed.
