I’ve had issues with getting sick with a sore throat several times a year since I’ve been a child, but for some reason my parents never got my tonsils taken out :(Well, last year I finally couldn’t take it anymore, and decided to get my tonsils removed at 30 years old. I met with Dr. Charles Edmond to get a consultation, and he was very honest. He openly admitted to me that getting my tonsils out as an adult would be a pretty miserable experience, and that I should expect to feel crummy for a while after, have some discomfort, and probably not be able to eat for a week or two. I appreciated his honesty.
Anyway.the day of surgery went well. Dr Edmond is really funny and makes the situation as fun as it can be made. They even showed me my tonsils afterward so I could see how creepy they look. Overall everything went great, and I am thankful I found such a great doctor.
