Sharon’s Alterations

I am so pleased with how my dress fits, the back was completely rhinestoned and crossed and after getting it back it looks exactly how it did when I first got the dress. Will definitely recommend to anyone who needs a quick and cheap alteration.

My daughter took her Senior Prom dress here for alterations. Took 4 days longer than promised and when she went to pick it up, it was a huge hassle. My daughter gave the lady her debit card and she ran it through and said that it didn’t go through. She did that numerous times. My daughter looked at her bank account on her phone and it showed it was withdrawn. The lady continued arguing with her saying she still owes and would not give my daughter her dress. So, I made my way there and the lady argued with me for over 30 minutes saying my daughter needed to go to her bank and get cash or she wouldn’t get her dress. I showed her the withdrawn amount on my daughters online banking, she still refused. She then gets on the phone with someone, who knows who beings she chose not to speak English in her conversation. She hung up and nothing had changed. I told her if she didn’t give us the dress I would be forced to call the Police to intervene. She said fine do it. She then got a call back from whoever it was that she was on the phone with previously. When she got off, she said ok you take the dress but we call you if there are any problems. She tried scamming us out of more money. Be cautious. The alterations were done well, not perfect, but well.

Sharon altered a bridesmaid dress for me — it had to be taken in all over — and she did it in less than a week! I recommend her to anyone who needs a dress fixed. She’s fast, friendly, and reasonably priced.

Absolutely recommend! With 10 days to go before I left for my destination wedding, I realized I didn’t love my dress. With a lot of luck I was able to find another dress but it needed some alterations. I took it to another highly recommended seamstress but was disappointed when I went to pick it up and she said she couldn’t make it look any bettter. I was upset but I didn’t have anymore time to deal with it since I also still had to have it cleaned and time was running out. While my dress was at the cleaners, I just kept thinking… there has to be something that can be done. With only one day left, I called Sharon, explained the problem and the time issue and she said to bring it by. She immediately looked at the dress on me and knew how to fix it and in less than 24 hours, I had my beautifully fitted dress and was out the door! Thank you Sharon! Alterations were great, service was quick and it was even inexpensive! Highly recommended!
