I have taken multiple yoga classes with Krista via Skype. At first, I didn’t know how remote yoga would be, but I have to say… Why didn’t I try this out sooner? Not only do I get to practice in my living room, I was able to try out her services all the way from Chicago. Krista designs each session around my body, she doesn’t just do any yoga series. Before we started, she did a consultation with me, and asked about any injuries, current aches and pains, and my goals. She learned my background in fitness, and yoga specifically(I have taken SOME classes, but I’d still call myself a newbie…) She tailored our session to my needs and my body. We did things I didn’t even know I needed to do. Krista has taught me a whole new way to look at yoga as a restorative, meditative, relaxing process. Previously, when I took yoga, I was so focused on the«fitness» side of things, I didn’t get all the benefits that Krista introduced me to. I am so thankful to her for opening my eyes about all the emotional and mental benefits of yoga, too! The way Krista runs our sessions is so kind, relaxing, and understanding. I am not pregnant, but I know she works with a lot of pregnant woman, and I can see why! She has such a gentle and soothing approach. You immediately know you can trust your body in her hands. She will push you, but in the most gentle and compassionate way. When it comes time for me to have a baby, I will absolutely be continuing my yoga practice with her to prepare for labor. I can’t recommend her services enough!
