Generous portions, Very friendly staff and everyone in the place was really friendly! I would like to see them«clean» the place up and by clean, I mean fix the broken plastic table cover, get rid of the dusty mugs, declutter, freshen up/touch up the paint… But I can look past that and just enjoy the food, but it needs a nudge! we’ll be back!

First time here and we were pleasantly surprised how much we liked it! It’s small but no waiting which I love. The service was good and the food was very good. I got French toast; huge portion size and made with real challah bread. The bacon was a bit crispy for my taste but I know for next time. DH got the omelette special and it was well made and full of veggies and cheese. Hash browns also tastes very fresh and were well made. Overall looking forward to visiting again!

Mon-Fri they have 2 eggs, home fries, and toast for .99. That’s right 99 cents. Food was great and price was even greater.

I moved to Quakertown late last summer & have had a few breakfasts at Sunday’s. It’s fairly small, but I was able to get a table each time. The food is excellent — most recently I was in with my sister, who got the stuffed French toast and let me try it– it was awesome! The whipped cream was incredible & perfect with the bananas & strawberries. I had an omelet, which was also delicious. Portions are large — prices are very reasonable. The staff is very friendly & the atmosphere is quaint– can’t wait to go back! One of these days, I’ll have to try lunch :)

Having lived here for 5 years, we had been meaning to check out Sunday’s but always passed it on our way out of town and when we weren’t hungry. Now that we’ve made it a point to come in, we love this cozy morning tradition for breakfast. We usually get eggs with toast, home fries, and a side of bacon or pork roll. Service is quick, food is good(fresh!), and it is such a nice change for breakfast that isn’t high volume diner or chain food. You can’t beat the prices, and the family photos and old décor on the wall speaks to how much of a true mom & pop gem this is. Stop in for a home cooked meal one morning — you won’t be disappointed.

This place is like walking into the past. my mom used to take me to a luncheonette when I was a kid. It reminds me of that. I like that is not a chain restaurant. the food is very good and very inexpensive. The atmosphere is very cozy. It’s like an old lunch counter in a drug store. Its really different than the national chains.

We LOVE this place!!! If you are looking for quality breakfast on the cheap, this place is it! Homemade everything; always very tasty and dirt cheap. I do not understand how they cover cost. In addition to breakfast food, they have great homemade desserts. the kind your grandma baked on «special» sundays. I know I can entice my hubby to drive from the Phila region to Q-town if I throw in the idea having breakfast here. We usually get their 2 dollar plate of 2 eggs, toast and home fries, add bacon to the order and get also an order of french toast with triple fruit topping(peach, banana, strawberries) topped with whipped cream($ 4).(FYI: french toast is out of this world awesome!!!) Then we just share everything as portions are generous. Add some pastries or cake to go. and we are on cloud 9. Very friendly staff and owner, with old world charm and down to earth attitude. You cannot go wrong eating here.

My friend and I decided to meet in Quakertown for lunch, which is the halfway point between where we were at the time. After reading reviews we decided on Sundays. We did not go wrong! It was amazing. The soup of the day was tomato basil and orzo soup. excellent. I ordered the grilled Rachel, which is a little different from the norm, made with ham and French dressing. It was the best grilled Rachel I’ve ever tried at any restaurant. The owner/chef was so nice too. You can tell that he is truly passionate about his business, as he came over to our table several times to see if we liked the food as well as to get to know us as new customers. Will surely be back and want to bring my boyfriend especially because we love finding places like this to eat at!

Cheap eats for breakfast. Met some of our friends in the small backroom of this place. All of us had an adequate breakfast. I personally ordered a veggie omelet which was made with spinach, brocolli, carrots, tomatoes and onions. I never had one before that included carrots, different to say the least; but being a vegetable eater, this one was for me. It hit the spot with some hot sauce topping it off. The potatoes on the side were simple and not greasy like in most restaurants. The service was good and polite. They went out of their way to make sure you were happy. Coffee was good also.

This place is a hidden gem in Q-Town. Sunday’s is open for breakfast and lunch only, but they also do catering on the side. If you’re a regular, you can bring in your own coffee mug and have it put up on the wall on a rack. If you’re here for breakfast, try an omelette. You really can’t go wrong. The sandwich selection at lunch is also pretty good. Prices are awesome and service is friendly. The owner«Sunday» is a pretty cool guy and is behind the counter cooking. Only con is that there’s not much seating at all and it can get busy on the weekend. Just keep that in mind. On weekdays you can get a .99 special breakfast. Can’t beat that.
