Ordered lunch. Carne Asada Taco and Pollo Asada Taco. Neither come with cheese which I did verify prior to this first order. When I arrived back at my office the tacos had cheese on them. I don’t each cheese. I called the location and was told I would need to return to the store when I could with the food and they would replace or refund. I told the woman that I would be unable to return to the store today and was not going to carry the food around in my car with me. She was rude and indicated that was the only way they could refund me. I offered to take a photo of the food since apparently I seem so dishonest. I will stop the payment via my bank. Very unimpressive first and last impression of this establishment.

I went to eat here late at night and the food was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helped me out with what to try by giving me some good recommendations. I ordered more than I can eat at once lol because I just couldn’t decide on what I wanted to try but everything was really good. The inside dining area was well maintained and clean with some TVs to watch while you eat too. I have nothing but positive stuff to say about them. Everything was good and I will be back there again. The only thing I recommend for them is their location is kind of hidden because it’s behind the oreillys in the plaza and is hard to see from the street at first.

I had a terrible experience with the quality of my food today. I ordered two cheese enchiladas and the cheese inside wasn’t even melted… Still whole shredded cheese that was cool in the center. Cheese wasn’t even melted on top of the enchiladas and the sauce was luke warm. I ate two bites and threw the rest away… Visually it didn’t even look right, not sure why or how it even made it out of the kitchen.

What a horrible experience we had at this location. When we first came to this place 6 years ago, they really weren’t that bad. Now they’ve gone down the drain. Never will I spend $ 36 on slop! Everything was dry, tasteless, overcooked, and messy. By the way don’t ask for a side of sour cream unless you want to be laughed at by the«cook»(I would say preparer,) because what we got was not worthy of a «cooks» status. For those of you that like the food here, that’s unfortunate. I felt so bad for spending that amount of money on food that was horrible and wasted. When it could of been spent elsewhere and the food to be good and enjoyed.

Pretty good Mexican food. I love the pickled carrots and onions they have as condiments. I usually take more of those than they would probably like me too, but oh well… Two tears in a bucket.

Only place to get real Mexican food. I love this place and it’s food. I love the chicken and fish tacos. Get the vegetables at the sauce bar; totally worth it.

I’m rather new to the area & have only been to this location twice, but both times were not good experiences, at all. First time, I ordered a chicken quesadilla just to find an almost 2 inch long, half inch wide bone in it. Called to let them know, not expecting any compensation, just a friendly heads up… I got a very rude girl on the phone with an attitude & short responses, lacking any sort of empathy, apology or customer service. Tonight, decided to give them another chance, this time for«Taco Tuesday.» Ordered a large number of tacos, both chicken & beef. Once ready to eat, noticed that the chicken in our tacos were still completely raw. Not just a little pink, completely raw, rubbery & all. It’s funny that the girl at the counter seemed rather confused when I questioned how my order was ready so fast. Unfortunately, it’s one of the few places that stays open late around here, but I will not go back again. Both of my situations are examples why careless businesses get shut down.

There isn’t many places to eat off off Ironwood and Ocotillo area, so we goto Filbertos once and a while. Every time I go inside the girls behind the counter have the worst attitude. They are not polite or professional what so ever. I have also called in an order for pickup and even on the phone they are rude. When I call in or pickup and they give me a time that it will be ready i still wait about 15 minutes or my food.

Not to say that I’m a Mexican food expert, but I am from San Diego and have had more tacos than burgers. That being said, I am a big fan of Filibertos and it is on our weekly rotation of restaurants that we frequent. Great food, friendly service and they are open early and stay open late. What’s not to love?

This place is like most Fili B’s…greased up beans and meat wrapped in a burrito. Sad thing is I kinda like it and go here all the time. This location needs to speed up their service though.

It’s the cleanest filly“b“s around. Soda was a bit syrupy and the bathroom was just cleaned. As a result of the bathroom I think my lungs have permanent damage. The food was good overall. About what is expected of fillibertos.

WARNING: FOODPOISONING! I was coming back from Mesa and was in the mood for some 99 cent tacos. I thought I would stop at Filiberto’s after all it’s right by where I live. so I go in and order two ground beef tacos and eat them there. First off I noticed a weird taste something was off, then I noticed they had put sour cream in them and I had not asked for it. I hate sour cream in anything. Anyway ten minutes later after I left I got severe food poisoning that racked me from head to toe. I was barely able to drive home slumped over the wheel of my car. I almost threw up all over my steering wheel. I made it to Chandler Heights Road and then onto Carolina where I had to stop. As soon as I put it into park and got out I threw up violently, I then staggered around the back of my car and collapsed on the sidewalk where I was racked for five minutes throwing up. I then got into my car and drove around the corner home where I had to run to the bathroom and shit the rest of it out violently. I spent the next 5 hours sick to my stomach and weak. My body instantly rejected the food from both ends, I not only threw up but had severe diarea. Do not eat at this place unless you want to throw up… «Friends don’t let friends get food poisoning»! Spread the word, and no I didn’t go back to tell them after all this isn’t the first Filiberto’s I have gotten sick at although that was from their chicken tacos, thats why I thought I was safe. Thats what I get for thinking. Filiberto’s always makes the list for one of the top dirtiest places to eat in the valley, a distinction that is well deserved. I will never eat at any of their places again. It is my belief that the sour cream was bad.

Went to Filiberto’s while visiting family over Thanksgiving. This was right down the road form the house so it was a great place to stop in and grab some food. It’s unassuming in that is a in a strip mall and menu is plastered to the front entry but it’s worth the trip in. I ordered a #7– Tostada and Taco Plate($ 6.39). When it was ready I was shocked at how generous the portion was, esp for the price! The side of the rice and refried beans was so large, and those were just the sides. The tostada was really simple with beans and cheese and topped with lettuce but was really good with some added vegetables. The beef taco was really good but not like I had ever had before. It seemed that they assembled a soft taco with a spicy, cooked ground beef and cheese prior to frying the whole thing crispy. BF and his dad had the #13 Chimichanga Plate($ 7.09) and #17– Two Chili Rellenos Plate($ 7.09), respectively. Both were large portions of food as well, enough for 2 people to share each one, which is why we had leftovers. BF has a side of guac with his plate, which was good, but a smooth texture(I prefer chunky) Tons of food for great prices. more write up:

Nice and fast, FRESH and friendly service. If you like real taco shops, this is it. My personal favorites are 5 Rolled Tacos with sour cream, cheese and guacamole. And the Chile Relleno Burrito! Awesome!

We visited Filiberto’s for the first time today for lunch. My wife and I got burritos… carnitas and beef. We cut ‘em in two, so we each had a ‘combo plate’. :) It was an impressive amount of meat for the cost, no doubt! The burritos were VERY tasty and … OMG… filling! The nice thing is that Filiberto’s doesn’t use rice and beans to fill the burrito, like some other places. It was filled with tons of meat and a few peppers. Great selection of goodies at the Salsa Bar, too! We will definitely be going back for another visit!
