Lawn Maintenance Pros

I am not sure why this company does not seem to want my business. I first requested online for an estimate. Was contacted almost immediately and scheduled an estimate within a couple of days. The gentleman who came out was great. Very knowledgeable and I was feeling good – finally maybe a lawn service would do what they say and show up! Well, he made a pretty big deal about staying on a 4 week schedule, which was OK with me.
They arrived as scheduled and did my initial work. This, of course, was at a higher price than the regular monthly maintenance will be. They did a pretty good job, although did not do some things that I had requested. They came back and corrected those. I was told that I would receive an email when my 4 week visit would occur. 5 or 6 weeks later I called and, of course, had to leave a message. When they called back, I was told that I was never placed on a «maintenance» schedule. So, I asked to please be put on one. I was told that they could not come until the following week since that is when they are in this neighborhood. I got a recorded confirmation call on the next Tuesday saying they would be here on Wednesday – they give you a time frame – you can call morning of to see where you fall on the schedule. I called and left a message asking when they might arrive. No return call and they never showed up! Sent an email – no response.
SO, I will need to try and find someone else – they are all unreliable it seems – and probably pay another «initial fee». I can not recommend this company.

We have used LMP a few times and have always received reasonable bids and good quality work. I’ve had them remove a Mesquite tree, remove shrubs and trim other shrubs, and trim all the front yard shrubs at my new home. They are not punctual and have come later than the scheduled time on each of three visits, but for their reasonable price and good quality work, I can deal with the wait.

On a whim, answered the door to LMP and took a chance on a one time trim of everything. The price was almost too good but gave them a shot. Holy Cow, & awesomeness. Great job! We have 9 large queen palms, 4 large fan palms, lemon tree, & oleanders in the back and shrubs in the front. They trimmed it all, clean up was great, they raked our rock and all for a great price. So then we thought we would try them on a monthly basis. Also a great price, we’re on auto debit, they show up every 4 weeks and have had them for a year now. Highly recommended.

After four companies failed to return calls or show up, I contacted LMP yesterday and scheduled an estimate for this morning. I was actually surprised when they showed up, and within the scheduled time frame. The person who did the estimate (Nate) and I talked at some length about what needed to be done in front and back yards, making sure we were on the same page both with work and price.
I figured the work would be scheduled at least a few days out; imagine my surprise when he said there were crews in my area and the work could be done today! The crew arrived not too long after – one manager and two other employees. The manager and I reviewed everything in the estimate and then everyone got to work.
They were here for some time pruning trees, trimming and shaping plants, hauling away loads of debris, spraying weeds and then doing a final cleanup of the front yard and porch along with back yard and patio – looks like the entire property had a face lift.
It is sad when customer service is so shabby you are happy when someone just shows up; however LMP not only showed up, they did a great job. Plan on using them in the future, and definitely recommend.
Note: They do request your credit card number upfront ‘to have on file’; however, you are not charged for the job until the work is completed.
I did not have an issue with the final product, so I am not sure how this is handled if there is any dispute over how the job was done.
They also accept checks.
Update: I am sad to say they have changed their pre-​emergent treatment from chemicals, which I heard worked really well, to granules which don’t work well at all. The treatment has a six-​month warranty but I am already having to call them back a second time in a few weeks. I will still use them for yard maintenance but may go with another company for weed treatment next year, unless they change back to the good stuff.
2^nd Update: Knocking off one star due to having to have them back a second time for weed control, and I still have some weeds. Again, if they keep using that granule garbage I will use them for lawn clean-​up only, but not for pre-​emergent/​weed treatment. I’ll leave the rating as 4, but I really feel like it’s more 3.5 now.
