Nice little spot. Not the best, but good for what it is. I always make sure I go to Alfred, he’s really good and always makes sure he gets a good job done!

It’s a hit or miss with this place. Some workers do a good job and you can tell a couple (1 or 2) are assistants. It’s a dated by pretty clean for the area nail salon. I’ve just do mani/​pedis here. They take their time but their material isn’t always the longest lasting, yet I will always come for a quick mani/​pedi because it’s just minutes from my house. It isn’t that busy on Saturdays but it does get super busy Thursday/​Friday.
I wouldn’t come here for any high tech or specialty nail jobs though.

So I experienced the worst service EVER imaginable at this place. The people who work here are extremely rude. The minute i walked in they are looking at you like «what do you want». As if it is a bother to them, that i want to spend money at their establishment. Blanca is the only person who can do a good pedicure. But unfortunately the serivce was so horrible i will never be spending at DIME at this place again. Dont waste your money

This is my salon! I LOVE this place. The prices aren’t too bad. Yes, its on Jamaica Avenue but its close enough to Springfield that the clientele isn’t as hood as it could get.
My mother and I have been coming to this spot for quite a while. They have changed management a few times but no matter who is in charge my experiences here have always been pleasant ones. I usually go on an off peak time so finding parking isn’t bad and I don’t have to put my precious quarters in the meter out front. BUT if I DID have to put money in the meter, the employees are always okay with providing you with change and even running out to complete the transaction for you (as long as you can tell them what your car looks like and give them the keys). They are so helpful and awesome.
The foot massage that accompanies the pedicure is to die for. If you get the spa treatment they pull out the hot rocks and go to town on your little toesies. I love those rocks. They are so smooth and they heat them up so as they rub them all over your feet this warm sensation is sent all over. Its awesome. The water is always just right and they keep the hand towels warm as well.
They have a bathroom. They do eyebrows and all that other waxing stuff in a private room in the back so everyone doesn’t have to watch you have your pubes plucked.
The massage chairs are fabulous and you wouldn’t believe how many times I have fallen asleep in them. They have a station by the door to dry your nails. When they help you carry your purse over and pull out your chair for you they give you a quick massage. The staff here really is awesome and for the prices it can’t be beat.
