I think they raised the price(13/per hr) BUT everything is clean and new.

DIY is an affordable place if you’re seeking a game of billiard and a bite of delicious kao rou! It’s only $ 11/hour for a game of pool, which is definitely reasonable. There are many pool tables inside and the environment is clean. They also have a lounge in the front which serves drinks and kao rou, or Chinese BBQ skewers. We got the chicken, beef, and pork skewers for around $ 5! I definitely suggest this place for a friend get-together or a date.

I go here all the time and it is the best pool place in flushing! The equipment is always kept clean after each customer uses it and the bbq is great too.

This place has the truest tables and cues that I know of in Queens/Nassau. Beers are $ 3. It’s a no brainer if you like to shoot pool and drink beer.

I went it just now, told me have a table to play. Never told me that they close at 2 neither did they tell me they have to charge a hour at least. It made me feel like I was ripped off. I only played 40 minutes… And I was charged for $ 13. It is DIY prince street billiard. I don’t recommend going there. I was not able to leave until I paid.

It should be no surprise that I didn’t come here for the billiards though it was a sizable section for billiards in a huge well lit room for that matter. Also didn’t come here for the free WiFi though I ended up using it anyway ;-) I came here for the BBQ Skewers-Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Eggplant, Seaweed all of which were perfectly seasoned and to top it off, Tsing Tao-Wow. If you’ve ever had street food cart BBQ Skewers, it’s not that different though the carts usually lack veggies except corn. Seaweed? Nearly impossible to come across. Alcohol? We can forget about that altogether with the street vendors. Nice spacious dining area and it’s never packed. Restrooms in the billiards section, so is the WiFi network name and password information. It’s overall a great place to relax and all the tables have wall/USB outlets to charge your devices.

This place really knows how K is done! The computer system to order songs is new and easy to use. There is plenty of music selection, and the music videos are real music videos, not that weird B roll. The rooms are clean, and with a connected bathroom(which is less clean), you never have to go out into the hallway! The food is good enough for your time there, but really you aren’t there to eat, now are you?

Decent place to shoot pool. Most importantly, one of the few places with a snooker table. Decent brunswick tables with ball return however, old felt with water stains. Charged me $ 12/hr last time I went, but I don’t think it was necessarily worth that much. Also, don’t come if you don’t like chinese music blasting while you play.

Doubtlessly, one of the best billiards place in Flushing area! I would love to give 5 stars but there are two main reasons that makes me give 3 instead. First, I love playing snooker so when I know they offer snooker, I was so excited! But THEYONLYHAVE1SNOOKERTABLE. Every time I go, there must be other people playing snooker and usually I have to wait a long period of time as a matter of fact that the rules and strategies of playing snooker is totally different from pool. One game of snooker could take up to 45 minutes or even more! DIYSHOULDREALLYCONSIDERADDINGMORESNOOKERTABLE. Second, the music they play is kinda annoying. Not only they don’t really update their playlist, so that every time I go, I hear the same songs over and over! But also they don’t shuffle the playlist and usually I keep hearing the songs by the same artist. I do hope they can fix these two problems as soon as possible

Pretty chill and clean place to hang out. Plenty of tables, sticks, and seats along the wall. They even have small side tables and coat racks for added convenience. Wish the pool tables were a little more spread apart though.

Although it’s located on one of the tiny streets of Flushing, the atmosphere feels safe– even late at night. And they also serve food and drinks in the front, which is a super plus! There is also a cute area in the front with tables to sit and chat with friends.

Large pool hall located right outside of downtown Flushing. It’s just $ 11 an hour… but the space isn’t impressive by any means and they only offer a limited menu during the day. By limited I mean what’s in the clear fridge by the front counter and the three juices on the drink menu. Yep.

It’s one of the nicest looking billiards I’ve been to in flushing! This place should have a have a higher overall score. The place is very clean, and the prices are affordable too. They do serve food such as fries, although it’s not really recommended.(but who can fault a pool place for not having the best fries?)

It’s the best place i’ve been to to shoot some pool. It’s clean, organized, and there’s A LOT of tables. It’s also pretty inexpensive, $ 11 per hour. I also like the design of the place; very modern and trendy. I don’t know what Jennifer A. was saying about the one-minute fee, because i’ve never encountered that.(Hopefully i’m not jinxing it)

pros: — closes late — a lot of pool tables — serves beer — $ 12/hr, not bad cons: — interior design is questionable — buzzers do not work or the staff doesnt care seems to be the only fun thing to do when you’re in this part of Flushing late night. I had a fun time with my friends here.

my first time here was a nice experience with a big group of people bc i only for 20 mins before leaving. the second time I came here… it was just another girl and me. We did not want to lose track of time, so i set a timer on my phone for 55 minutes, and my friend also asked the girl at the desk if she could let us know when our time was up in case we went over our 1 hour. She said she would remind us. So we played until my phone rang leaving us 5 minutes to finish up our game asap & pack up everything. we bring the balls back and the girl says we went over our one hour by ONEMINUTE so we had to pay an extra $ 2.00!!! We told her it was just 1 minute and we reminded her that we had asked her to let us know when our time was up and she gave us some bullshit excuse saying she was busy. #1 there weren’t much customers, #2 when we got there she was just chatting wth her coworker, #3 no one in the pool hall really ordered drinks. My high school work experience of 5 years with bubble tea told me i was smelling a load of crap. THIS1MINUTECHARGEISBS! i heard another guy who worked there say in Chinese to his coworker that its just a few dollars. It’s not that we can’t afford a few extra dollars, it is the bullshit i smelled and no apology from the worker bc she had actually forgotten to remind us. I’ve been to all the old school pool halls in flushing… carom, 4×4, mammoth, empire… THISNEVERHAPPENEDEVER! DIY has lost my future business. Whenever any friend wants to go shoot pool, i will make sure we go out of the way to Carom.

Alright so I don’t know if this can be an honest review or not since I didn’t really stay all that long. I came looking for DIYuan but I came to DIY Billards & Lounge which is actually owned by the same people. So the lounge has the euro trash feel or would this be asian trash feel? In back it’s not as nicely decorated but they have plenty of pool tables. Lots of older asian guys were playing and of course the younger folks. Looks like a chill place to shoot some pool, I’d go back if I were in the mood.
