Junk Your Car Today

Not sure if the company is legit, but they definitely have fishy business practices. One morning, both my wife’s and my cell phone received unsolicited phone calls from this company. They left a voicemail saying they were returning my call, but neither of us ever called them. Thinking it was weird (and potentially dangerous) that this mystery number called each if our individual phones that have different area codes, we called back to find out what was going on. They answered telling us that they were returning our calls about selling a car, which never happened to begin with. We don’t even own cars. When I said this and pushed to find out where they got our numbers from, the guy (I believe his name was Chris) on the other end hung up on me and would no longer answer my calls. I called back about one hour later and blocked my number so they would answer, lying that I was selling a car to find out more information. My best guess is that they are buying phone lists somewhere and fishing for people with them.
