The pizza is great — it is Greek crust so if you only like Italian micro-thin you have a heads up. Their Italian sub(no pickles lots of hots) is the best around. The staff is very nice and efficient. Everything is very clean, and delivery is both fast and hot. The parking lot is oddly shaped, often busy(!) with courteous diners but navigable if you have an iota of intelligence. It is not a restaurant with ambiance and cloth napkins — there are a few booths to wait or eat in. A great spot to grab a delicious bite if you on the Expressway — right between the Burgin Parkway and Furnace Brook exits. I highly recommend it and have friends/relatives who look forward to ‘ordering Copeland’ when they vista me.

I have driven past this place for years. I was always curious about it. But I never went in until today. The parking here is horrible, so that’s a knock on the place right off the bat. Located at an awkward intersection, the parking lot for this place is wedge-shaped and ridiculous. It’s barely a lot. But I had a bad feeling as soon as I walked inside. A general rule of thumb, in my experience, is that if the pizza oven is within 5 feet of the cash register the food won’t be any good. I don’t know why. But it’s true. This store is cramped as hell, with tiny tables squeezed in anywhere they could do it, basically. I had wondered for quite a while whether or not the pizza here was good, and based off of other Unilocal reviews I decided to give it a shot. The staff is friendly, so that’s not an issue. I ordered two slices and a Dr. Pepper. $ 5 in all. A man threw the slices into their oven for a minute, and then took them out. I didn’t get a great look at them. But from a distance they looked alright. The guy asked if I wanted a box, and I said I did. Then I took the slices home. The smell of them on the ride home was unpleasant and unpizza-like. I would liken the scent to cardboard with cheddar on it. When I got home I sat down, opened the box, and saw two pathetic, somewhere between large and small slice sized pieces. The cheese was overcooked. I picked up the first slice and took a bite. Then another, and a third. It didn’t taste that great. The second slice didn’t look as overdone as the other one, so I took a bite from that one instead. There was no difference. It was just as bad. It lacked flavor or any redeeming features at all, really. I spit the pizza back in the box, threw the slice back in and trashed it. Then I went over to my sink and washed my mouth out. The flavor was that bad. This place makes one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had anywhere. I haven’t had pizza this awful since I tried Lil’ Caesar’s roughly 15 years ago. The only redeeming parts of this experience were that I didn’t spend a lot of money here(I suppose you get what you pay for), and I got a Dr. Pepper out of it. The good thing though is that you can find better pizza by traveling in literally any direction. I would suggest going to the Old Railroad Café which isn’t even a mile away instead.

*sigh* what can I say about this place? There’s one in every neighborhood: the place that’s not good enough that you would WANT to eat there but passable enough that you wouldn’t rule it out if you had no choice. 1) there are like 3 parking spaces. Maybe 4 if someone doesn’t care about personal space. 2) they do not take cards. I’ll never be ok with a business that doesn’t take cards in this day & age. It’s cash only. 3) the place is kind of dingy/dirty. I’d never eat there. Always take it to go. 4) the food is not that great. I’ve had the pizza, salad & mozzarella sticks. The marinera sauce is liquid-y & flavorless. The pizza dough is off. It’s crunchy but not a thin crust so it has the texture of toast. The salad was fine but how badly can you screw that up anyway? I’ve been living here for almost 3 years and I’ve eaten there 3 times. Once on my own because it was snowing so I walked there rather than drive elsewhere, and twice when my old roommate ordered food.(She used to eat there all the time. But she’d eat anything so I wouldn’t use that as an indicator of their quality.)

This place has my favorite type of pizza! It is delicious! And the buffalo chicken finger sub is really good! Just recently, I tried the Greek salad with steak tips. This was the first time I ever finished a whole salad from a take out place! The steak tips made the salad and they were so tender and flavorful! Everything about the food here is amazing ! I have not been disappointed !

Just bad an absolutely ATROCIOUS cheeseburger sub from this place. The exact words out of my mouth when i unwrapped it was ‘this sub looks someone just gave it bad news’. But I paid for it so i decided to eat it. It was dreadful. Absolutely putrid. I do not reccomend this place to anyone. God bless

I just got a steak and cheese sub here… To me the cheese shouldn’t be something I need to look for. When it’s only on the very bottom of your sub, you know the sub making skills are amateur at best. The restaurant itself. Typical tight sub shop. However, look at the hood hidden behind the sign! Gross, grease dripping off of it. Isn’t the health and fire dept suppose to check this?

This is the best Pizza place in the city. I order here every Friday night, they are the perfect type of pizza for me. Crusty, good cheese and good sauce. The stand up drivers are top notch.

I usually go to the Old Railroad Café for pizza, but I was in the mood for a change. This cash only establishment is in the Greek style pizza tradition. The slices, a couple bucks a pop, had an OK flavor profile, but were too oily for my taste. The slices were very soggy, and melted cheese was too… gooey. None the slight char you might expect. A little less oil and another minute or two in the oven might get a third star. They do have CANS of soda, which is a relief in the age of 20 oz min. serving sizes.

Copeland was my go to take out food. First off the staff is amazing and so friendly. I had been going their since I was a little kid. It is always nice to walk in and talk to Deb and see how she and the rest of the gang is doing. Their calzones are to die for and fries(Order well-done) are the best. Not to mention their amazing honey mustard. I wish they would open one near Abington

Found hair in my pizza; although at first I thought there could be a possibility it was mine considering I have black hair also, but I picked it out and continued to eat and then found more embedded in the dough… I was immediately sick and grossed out. Does anyone still wear hair nets?!

Always prompt, the food is good, though the pizza(especially the cheese) does not reheat well in the microwave. There are a few tables to sit at, but it’s mostly a take out or delivery place.

The location is convenient with a few parking spots. Be sure to bring cash as they do not accept credit. They have chocolate milk that my husband loves. As for the burgers, they do seem to have been frozen then cooked. They are like hockey pucks. When I asked for medium or pink they were not happy with my request. They can come across as rude but I think that’s just because of who they are. They are quick and like most pizza companies will place your meal on top of the oven to keep it warm. Don’t order the salad. It’s not that impressive. My daughter could have made something more appealing. In the end they are okay if you’re in a hurry, otherwise look around elsewhere.

I’m so disappointed. Pizza tasted like something reminiscent of grade school lunch. Soggy crust, gloppy cheese. French fries were warm, yet hard/soggy. Does that even make sense? We didn’t think so either. Buffalo wings, you guessed it, SOGGY. My teeth sank into salty mush. I will avoid this location in the future.

If your looking for a great steak and cheese or a delicious pizza I highly recommend Copeland pizza. If you want extra cheese make sure to ask for extra, extra, extra cheese and ask for lefty to cook it.

Their pizzas are delightful! The crust is nice and crispy on the outside. Only bad thing is the cash only.

From what I’ve had the food is amazing! The best baked haddock and really good salads! Usually get delivery so can’t comment on the cleanliness or the staff or place itself. But I’ve driven by plenty of times and the place seems a lil small on a corner, kinda. Though I can say the delivery guy seems quite nice. Prices are decent too, and portions are always nice. Sometimes I eat way too much and there’s still leftovers!

Yummy Greek pizza– I recommend bacon, onion, extra cheese :) Boneless buffalo tenders are very good and they give you a ton.
