Their slogan is «more professional from the ground up». I thought of suggesting«less professional than a roomful of kindergartners», but that’s not nice to kindergartners. I hired D and B to trim my trees away from my neighbor’s house, at my neighbor’s request. A sales guy came out and appeared to be making careful notes as I described exactly what I wanted. In fact, he was marking the trees to be trimmed, but not documenting what I wanted done to them at all. The day of the service, some men came to the house and trimmed the trees in whatever fashion they chose. I was dismayed that they had removed all the shade from my front path without removing the branches that my neighbor had complained about. So I called them back to remove the branches from my neighbor’s side of the fence. On the day of my second appointment, I was clear that I had somewhere else to be in the afternoon, and asked them to come in the morning. I also asked my sales rep to be there to help me supervise the trimmers. The sales rep did come by but not at the same time as the tree trimmers. Claiming that my doorbell did not work(probably true) he left immediately without knocking on my door, shouting, or calling me with his cell phone. The tree trimmers did not come for hours. I called the office over and over. Finally, an exasperated woman snapped that they couldn’t work in the rain and it was now pouring rain. My bad, not being a tree trimmer, I did not know that. Would it have been totally unreasonable for them to call me and reschedule? Finally, I told them that I no longer needed their services, and would not pay for the work. The CSR on the phone hung up on me. I left for my appointment. That afternoon, they came to my property after I had clearly asked then not to, and trimmed my trees. I felt totally violated. I won’t even go into the part about how I disputed the charges they put on my credit card and they lied to the credit card company. So, in the end the trees were trimmed — a lot and not how I wanted, their staff showed themselves to be completely unprofessional. All in all, this was one of the worst transactions I have ever participated in.
