I travel to Quincy often, and always support the local restaurants. Everything I have been here, One of the Owners comes out and asks how the meal was. The lunch value meal is ok. There is nothing special about it other than the price. If you want a good lunch at a nice price, it works. What is special about this place is the actual normal menu items. These guys do it right, from scratch. They seem to be from Wisconsin and use a lot of Wisconsin items which is unique to Quincy. I really enjoy the Ribs. The Pizza is the best in town. Small setting with a bar on one side, restaurant on the other. Nice Patio also. If the restaurant has any faults it is that you have to enter via the bar. So if there is a group having a good time it may steer away some families. Prices are fair, staff is friendly, food is great. One thing I have noticed is that the owners want to know if there is an issue. They will make it right if it isn’t. Highly recommend for the business traveler staying at the Hampton or nearby. Lunch crowd is usually slow so it is a nice place for a personal 1 on 1 meeting. I do notice that the owners are very particular about cleaning and sanitizing everything. This is impressive to me.

Fitz’s on 4th is a great hidden gem for lunch. The fried tenderloin/fries lunch special for $ 5.99 is excellent. The oil is changed often because their crinkle-cut fries are crispy and perfect. It is obvious they take pride in keeping their place very clean. Hope, the waitress at lunch is very friendly and attentive.

Went here for the first time on a Friday night. Didn’t care much for my sandwich. Waitress brought our food and never came back, hence I went my whole meal with no drink. This irritated me as several staff members passed our table yet no one offered to fill my empty glass. Then we had to hunt someone down to get our check. When I told who I thought was a manager about my experience, I was told that my waitress was new and if I wanted a good first impression that I shouldn’t have come in on a Friday night because it’s one of the busiest nights. So, on busy nights I shouldn’t expect good service?!? I’ll take my money elsewhere. I’m sorry but I find that comment completely unacceptable!

the hamburger and the chicken sandwich are so so. The Itallian Sausage sandwich is really good. Prices are reasonable but they are dead at lunch. I think they do better at night.
