*** WHYDOESTHISSTOREEVENEXIST, I SWEARTOGOD, THISPLACEISFREAKINGHORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.*** Just like the other 2 posters stated, I can vouch for their inconvenience just knowing how this store operates. The only reason I am staying or have stayed with Metro Piece of Shit is that lousy $ 30 promo i am still on. I am one who doesn’t make a big deal about fancy phones and all its gadgets but just want something simple to make calls, text and view my emails. But the service at this place by the staff is just horrible. When Metro was changing its antennas to T-mobile 2 months ago and they sent out their text notices to customers to switch, my phone abruptly died and I’ve lost everything from photos, text and contacts. I’ve gone to several metro stores to get it back and the idiots could not even repair their stupid hardware. I go to this one, I hear this High school kid who works there can help me get them back for a personal fee that he charges, is that even legal? If he works at the store, why are they doing this as a side business and not a store service? One has to wonder what other kind of shenanigans goes on under the table. This is a phone that Is only 1 year and a few months old. When I purchased it at that time, the lady swore that it was the best phone i could get with them. Then I bring in my new phone, after the T-Mobile switch, to get it serviced because somethings are not working right, like dropped calls, light not coming on, phone just shutting off, picture settings not working and I hear that i must pay a $ 15 fee for them to send it out for repair to get a new phone. Wait, you have tons of them right there at the store if someone came to buy one, so why can’t you give me one of the new ones, my model, that you have right here, just transfer everything over? Nope, they can’t do it. There is not a time I have gone to this store for something that I left satisfied. Its always, «Sorry, you’ll have to call customer service» and customer service is even worse because they, too, ask that you visit the store, like WTF? But tell them you come in to pay a bill, Oh, everything works fine with their computer or equipment to take in your credit card or process your cash. But when you need them to fix any or all the glitches in their stupid piece of shit phones, it’s always a sorry ass excuse about how there’s nothing they can do or you should buy a new one. They have no remorse at all about how you feel, there is no care or own up to responsibilities from them at all. I am a foreigner, from the Caribbean islands, so don’t take this the wrong way, as racist or prejudice but I prefer doing Business with White Americans at any place, anywhere, then any foreigners, even at times people from my homeland. This store, including the one in Weymouth where I’ve also gone to for service, the one in Cambridge, they’re all the same, PATHETIC. Like i said before, the only reason i am swallowing dirt and sticking with it and let the abuse is because of the $ 30 plan. I guess this is what you get and should expect from a cheap plan. I’ll be leaving soon. I hope this place runs out of business and another company somehow takes its place.
