No longer in business, they now only do wholesale for their baklava. If you’re a retailer, you should check it out

Went to try Samaya but was told they no longer serve food. Doing wholesale Middle Eastern pastries now and will sell the pastries retail in the shop, but no more meals.

This iraqi food establishment is relatively new and excellent, well deserving 5 stars from all reviewers. The food is superb. Located on quincy’s busiest thoroughfare, hancock street, in north quincy, one can walk there from the north quincy red line t station. Parking is street only and i suggest you park on less crowded billings road. This place is really a bakery and caterer that is open to the public for takeout and bus your own dining. Only 4 or 5 tables. Very clean and yoou are served on real plates, although they use plasti utensils. My family was here on a hot and humid 95 degree summer day. The food: the menu divided into pita wraps and sandwiches and meal plates and flat bread and iraqi stuffed buns and side plates and side orders and soup and beverages and pastries like various flavors of backlava. The falafel sandwich is a huge wrap, big enough for two as it is maybe 12 inches ling. Super delicious although it could be less dry with an extra side of tahini. Only 4.99! For carnivores there are beef chicken and lamb. Plenty of vegetarian options. Even free wifi and they have a tv. Check it out.

Amazing food, the owner became my friend too so that’s a plus. Also the food especially the falafel sandwich tasted so good. I’m totally coming again with my mom, who enjoyed the experience even more than me! I am so happy I live so close.

I run into the bakery just because of my curiosity. But I was amazed by the pastries! Believe me, they were prepared with love. Fresh, delicious, with perfectly balanced flavor. It’s a family business, the owners are very nice couple. Falling in love with Middle East food in the first encounter. Highly recommended.

Sitting at one of the 5 small tables here, enjoying some of the best falafel and Shawarma I’ve had in a long time. Fresh, and perfectly seasoned, they are a steal at $ 4.99/$ 5.99. Spinach puff also delicious! Very friendly staff.

I give this such a high rating because the service was so amazing. Samples were given out, and everything we tried was so delicate in flavor and deliciously flaky. I can’t wait to go back again and try all the flavors they have.

Wow! Excellent falafel wrap! Cooked to order, so you gotta wait. It’s worth the wait! Best $ 4.99 I spent in a long time. Not a lot of tables, but good space– not cramped. I’ll be back.

We were enticed to explore this brand new bakery and sandwich shop by the beautifully decorated wedding cakes in the front window. Inside we were treated to attentive and friendly service and generous sampling of the many exquisite pastries on display. The owner prepared us chicken shawarma sandwiches that were head and shoulders above the typical, onion heavy roll-ups you get in most Greek and Middle-eastern type sub and pizza shops. Samaya’s were pressed to a beautiful crispness and the filling was absolutely delicious with hints of cinnamon and something pickled. I will go out of my way to pick up sandwiches and pastries here. Best of luck to this welcome addition to North Quincy.
