If I could give a ZERO star rating I would… This is a crummy small business with asian fare. There, produce is limited at best as well as their frozen seafood and questionable butchered meats. The owners do not pay their workers and as big as a proponent as I am to local business, this is not one of them. The basement reeks of alcohol and cigarettes near the food service area which poses a health hazard. The owner also runs an underground illegal poker/mahjong gambling operation across the street that also reeks of alcohol and cigarettes. The unit is located at approx. 3 Brook St in-between the Wollaston Convenience Store and the Ming’s Seafood Restaurant. Do NOT support this establishment and patronize other nearby grocers and convenience stores in the area!

This Chinese supermarket opened recently within the last few months just across from the Red line Wollaston T stop. What a convenient location. I went in here looking for Miso paste(used to make soups, etc.) The market is pretty small. I went up to the register to ask for help and the woman didn’t speak ANY english(she was in her 20’s). A customer spoke English and translated for me. They laughed at me. I asked again, if they carry and the worker said no. I asked do you know where I can buy it? She laughed again and said no. VERYUNHELPFUL. I stuck out like a sore thumb here and they don’t want my business. I would have bought other items here, but they were so unhelpful. I ended up going to Somerville to shop and got my items there. They are VERY helpful there(even though they had to look for 10 minutes). How to get there? Limited street parking, but it’s right across from the T.
