One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Definitely something unique with the crispy cracker crust. There seems to always be a police officer sitting in the parking lot. Guess it’s not a good neighborhood. Definitely worth the experience if u have never tried their pizza.

Seems to be a favorite around town but I really have never been a fan. We get it at work. It’s fine but I’d take Mike and Angelos over it any day

This was our first visit and we were blown away by the pizza and the service!!! Let’s start with the pizza — amazing cracker thin crisp dreamy crust, excellent red sauce, gooey cheese, and a generous amount of sausage cooked to perfection and served piping hot!!! What more can you ask for? We had a super great server, RyAnn too! RyAnn was friendly and attentive! Do yourself a favor and check Wells Brothers out!!! We are super excited to go back for their delicious pizza and also to try their specials and other menu items! Yum!

3.5 stars… Had this pie for lunch and though it was not my regular fav(deep dish) it was very tasty. Crispy crust, tasty sausage, and sauce that had a great flavor. The toppings and sauce went all the way to the edge of the crust, just the way I like it! It was carry out and I didn’t buy it so I cannot comment on price or ambiance, but I will have this again when back in Racine. This joint makes the list!

My good friends would rave about their hometown pizza… Finally tried it… Best choice I’ve ever made. Best to go simple when ordering to fully enjoy the phenomenal sauce, cheese and thin crust

It’s a good pizza place but it’s not the best as some of you have stated in your comments. Overall it’s between a 3 and 4.

Had lunch here a couple of times in the last few months and it was very good. Good thin crust pizza and greay soups!

Our first time to Wells Brothers pizza and it did not disappoint. We caught one of their specials which had pizza garlic bread and a pitcher of soda for 20 bucks. Thin crust pizza was excellent. Piping hot and real generous on the toppings. Eggplant appetizer and cheese curds were also very good. I read online that we should make reservations and it is a good piece of advice as the place was very busy. Being our first visit I was very impressed with the service as Stephanie did a great job taking care of us. Thank you for the great service and excellent food

Everyone raves about the pizza, I don’t think it’s that great. However, I have had both lunch and dinner here and it’s always good. I’ve had the pasta dishes they are good. I’ve had the burgers… they are very good as well. The soups are always on point and fantastic. The sandwiches like the ham n cheese are good. The chicken sandwich is OK but not on my tops list. The chicken salads are large and tasty. Wells bros has been around a long time and I’ve been stopping in over the years. It’s always been consistent and always good. All you can eat fish fry Friday! If you never been to this establishment you should put it on your list.

I don’t get the hype? I want to support a local Racine landmark but I don’t care for the pizza here: way too thin for me, take out turns into a floppy mess by the time you get home. I haven’t had anything else on the menu except for the antipasto salad, which was ok. Also in full disclosure I grew up in the Chicago burbs so I’m partial to a Giordano’s deep dish or even Racine’s own DeRango’s virgin crust blew me away. All comes down to the style of pizza you prefer!

Back again for the tenth time in 10 months. I really enjoy the service and food. I can’t say enough about a good pizza with old world ambiance. My family and I always enjoy a visit to a place that still has homemade tiramisu.

Really amazing pizza. Hands down the best meal I had during my visit to Racine. The only down side was the service as our waitress forgot several items while we were here. Lemony chicken soup with wild rice was good, deep fried cheese curds were great and the pizza was hands down the best I’ve ever tried. I live in North Carolina so I’m sad that there is nothing to compare this to within my reach back at home.

My absolute favorite pizza in town. Especially since the smoking ban, it actually makes dinner in tolerable. Cracker thin crust. I have never had any problems with the neighborhood(one of my other favorite places– La Tapatia is just around the corner) A favorite for family dinners, but you can wait quite a while on the weekends, so make reservations. We often order for pick up. They do not deliver.

There’s only one other Midwest pizza this good, and that’s the Lucca Grill in downtown Bloomington, Ill. It’s not a coincidence that both places have been around for decades. Yes, I know the neighborhood is shaky. Get over it – they have security outside the door. I know the wait can be long, so pick your spots during the week and don’t insist on going on Friday or Saturday. Also, while the rest of their menu is just fine, this is a pizza place, and they are rightfully proud of their pies. A thin, cracker crust that cooks in a few minutes with tangy tomato sauce. What’s not to love? I don’t go there enough. I could go on and on, but this is the best pizza in southeast Wisconsin.

Holy crap this was good. I wanted to stop here on our drive from Chicago to Mke. The reviews and cracker crust pizza pulled me in. I had a cup of pasta fagioli soup, an antipasta salad and we shared a small cheese pizza(well done). Everything was delicious, the pizza was so good. The soup was flavorful, the service was great. Totally happy with my choice and would stop here again in a hot second.(My only compliant is that I’m Not a fan of pepsi products)

Wells Brothers is the best pizza in the Racine area. It’s thin crust pizza, and it is outstanding. You will not find a better pizza place in the area, so stop looking. Don’t let the location scare you off. While not in the best part of town, the security Wells Brothers provides in and around their establishment keeps the thugs living in the neighborhood at bay. You owe it to yourself to give them a try. There is not a single item on their menu that will disappoint. Simply the best.

First, make a reservation. We tried to go on a Friday night and was told the wait would be an hour at least. But once I knew there were reservations, I called and got us right in on Saturday night. The key is there is really no place to wait if you just show up and put in your name. So, in summary, make a reservation. The service was excellent. Though it was busy, we were taken good care of. Now, the pizza. It was ok. We had a large thin crust pepperoni pizza, and honestly it was ok. Not great and not terrible. In my mind, there was nothing distinctive about the pizza, but nothing that didn’t make me stop eating it, either. I’m not saying I won’t go back, but I will not run back. The fact that reservations were necessary and the service was excellent is a great sign for this place. But the pizza was missing magic to bring it all together.

FACT: Sodas at Wells Brothers are $ 2 and come with one refill, in effect making sodas $ 1/ea. FACT: Cans of Hamms beer are NINETY-THREE cents at Wells Brothers. That’s all day, everyday. FACT: Beer is literally cheaper than soda at Wells Brothers. That last one is pretty much enough to award a place 5 stars alone… but…pizza. Some of the best thin crust pizza in all the land can be had here(#6 in all the land to be accurate). The crust is perfect — cracker thin, crunchy, yet substantial enough to not get all soggy and gross in the middle. I always avoid the middle for that reason(and because crust pieces are the freakin’ best) but every bite here was perfect. As a bonus, Wells Brothers isn’t too greasy and their Italian sausage is full of fennel & flavor. Outside? Welp, it’s a little sketch(not«that» bad really & there’s security after dark). Inside? A delightfully divey vintage tavern with a small dining room, family photos on the walls and 93 years of history. If you’re not eating pizza(and you should be, get with the program) they have pastas, sandwiches and like 5 – 6 homemade soups. Lots of peeps were eating soup so it must be good. They get busy too, so expect to wait a bit even at lunch. Service for us was quick & efficient. Prices? It’s not just cheap cans of poor-quality lager here. Pizzas are well priced & they run lots of specials. Come on Tuesday and score a 16″ 1-topping pizza, a bucket of 6 beer shorties and an order of garlic bread or fries(?) for just $ 20. I’m sorry that it took us so long to get to Wells Brothes and I’m even more sorry they aren’t closer to home because they blow Zaffiros away. No question. And ninety-three cent cans of Hamms.
