Prices are extremely high!!! When I asked why the prices were so much higher than the Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg he stated, «Me and Keith are friends we’re not in competition. He’s over 30 minutes away from me.» I’m sorry but I disagree. Vintage Cellar may not be competing with you because they have more selection and are established but you are in competition with them. Then to treat me like I was an idiot to ask why why your prices are so much higher, maybe I’m strange but I will drive the extra 15 minutes to somewhere where my business is appreciated and there is more selection. Sad thing is I live in Fairlawn and will never shop there again. I also asked how he would compare the chocolate stout he had in store in 4 packs with the Samuel Smith chocolate stout and he stated that that Samuel Smith didn’t have a chocolate stout. I then told him you have it here in your store and he stated that he didn’t when I showed he had it in a variety pack (which was almost 30 dollars!!!) he tried to act like it was too expensive to break up so he hadn’t tried it. I then explained I could get a 4 pack of the chocolate stout and oatmeal stout in Blacksburg for less that he was offering 3 bottles of 18 oz. He seemed to think I was lying to him but assured me the glass that came with it was unique. I hope I’m wrong and he changes his attitude but if I had to bet this place will be out of business within 3 years.

This is a great little wine shop with a wide range of unique selections from boutique vintners. They also have a nice array of craft beers, providing great options beyond the usual boring go-to’s you would just pick up at the grocery store. They hold free beer tastings on Friday nights and wine tastings on Saturdays during the day to let you sample new items. I attended a beer tasting that was very fun, sampling everything from a grapefruit infused ale to a classic stout — seems like they really made an effort to pick something for everyone and Bill was very knowledgeable. They also sell gourmet cheeses, coffee, and pastries which I did not sample but looked wonderful. Well worth a visit!

Great wine store. Nice selection of unique beers. Carry Boar’s Head items also and hand painted wine glasses. Also some sweet treats. Well worth a visit
