DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE! Again I repeat, DONOTGOHERE! I went there this morning to get Goddess braids. When I asked about the price the girl said it would vary depending on the number of braids but because I only wanted five I knew it would be inexpensive. One girl started off but then decided(I guess) that she didn’t want to do it so another girl started. She braided all crooked, parts not straight, braids got a hump in them once they get to the neck area, etc. Also they are unsanitary. The girl braiding my hair sneezed in her hands and then proceeded to braid my hair WITHOUT washing her hands. Then once she was finished she said she was going to charge me $ 20 per braid… what?! $ 100 for some goddess braids/cornrows. AFTER I COMPLAINED, she then said she would only charge $ 15 per braid which was not much better. $ 75 for goddess braids that look whack! Then her and the others started speaking in their language so I know they were probably talking about me since I raised a fuss about the quality of the braids and the price. The style she did is maybe worth $ 30 and that’s being nice. I probably could have went to someone’s house and had them done way better. I will never go there again and ADVISE that you DONOT either!!!

I was referred by a colleague who said she used to get her braids done there. There were two ladies working on my hair. When they started, I asked that my braids not be so tight and for them not to use a lot of hair. May, the lady I scheduled my appointment with, was alright but the other lady was rough and she didn’t care that I told her that she was hurting me. I asked her several times not to pull my hair and/or comb my hair before she tries to grab it with a clip. I asked for box braids. The other lady(not May) who braided the back gave me partial cornrows to start the braid. Because of this I can’t even pull my hair up if I wanted to. They don’t use combs to part your hair which makes the parting process worse if you are natural like me. On top of that, they don’t wash your hair before they start. I washed my hair before I came, but this other client came in while I was there. She had braids in her hair that needed to be taken down. May went straight from my hair to the other client’s hair without even washing her hands. May did not wash the girl’s hair, nor did she ask if the client wanted her hair washed, she just started braiding her dirty hair. As I was paying I noticed that my ENTIRE credit card number and the expiration date was printed on the receipt. I scratched it out and signed. May got upset and said she NEEDED my entire number. I don’t know if my card is going to be hacked because of this but that wasn’t cool. I even spoke to «Mariam» on the phone and she admitted that she keeps customers credit card numbers and expiration date. God forbid that someone gets ahold of that information and people start losing money. I will never go back again. Sanitation, attitude, and customer service was poor. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the braids look nice(even though I can’t pull them up).
