Arabian Nights Elite Event @ Mosaic Wine Lounge

There were a lot of firsts for me at this event! It was my first Elite event, my first time trying Rosé wine (yum!), my first tarot card reading, and my first time going to Mosaic! Everything was fabulous! I’m only sad that I never made it to the back to have my first henna tattoo, but I was too busy chatting with all the wonderful Triangle Unilocalers & watching the awesome belly dancer.
I feel so lucky that I got invited to this wonderful event! Christina did a fabulous job with the planning! Can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

Great evening, would have loved to have hung around longer but I had an early start with our guests from Charlotte! How can you go wrong with Mosaic, wine and bellies?! Hope to catch y’all at the next Elite event…

THIS SHIZ WAS BANANAS!
Okay, Christina G. gets maaaad props for one of the best parties ever! In less than an hour, I drank four glasses of wine and was wasted (but on wine, so that’s totally classy). Turns out, the way I’m like around a buffet is the way I’m like around an open bar. Unfortunately, instead of food coma’ing, I have the following fuzzy recollections:
— Luke C, Dan C, and I went to Kevin and annoyingly asked him to watch our lunchboxes! I think he was too sober to be amused by our lovable antics.
— The photobooth! I have somehow ended up with three, one of which doesn’t even have me in it. Christina, Nikki, and I apparently equate «O» face as looking confused and slightly angry. Having 5 people in it at once with a boa, hats, and an open-​shirted Phil.
— Taking pictures where Dan C and Nikki seem to be propositioning an open-​shirted Phil and stuffing money down his pants.
— Screaming at Phil to «Take hot pictures of me for my match. com profile.»
— Having hilarious conversation with John H (I can’t remember anything, but I’m sure it must’ve been very witty and high-​brow)
— Telling a sober Derrick that we were going the wrong way (despite his iPhone directions and my intoxication) and laughing hysterically as he tried to squeeze his giant’s body into my Toyota Yaris. Lemme tell you, they don’t make those cars for people over 5’5.
— Getting shiz started on the dancefloor with Nikki, April, Erin, and Meghan. The men (Dave & Derrick) looked very stoic watching our purses.
— Requesting Lady GaGa waaaay too many times.

First, let me apologize for not introducing myself to all of you. I was the camera man so my interactions were short. I tried to have Christina introduce me to all of the new people at the end of the night but then I discovered the photo booth and became a bit distracted. That photo booth rocked! Can’t wait to see the digitals!
I was able to enjoy two glasses of wine and found it quite delicious. I would have had some Heinekins had the night not flown by so quickly :(
I did have an especially good time photographing the belly dancer. Maybe my wife learned some new moves. Somehow I got completely covered in purple glitter. Not sure if it was due t
