If you need a place to get alterations done, try Beacon Cleaners. This family owned place really took care of me. I needed to get a few skirts taken in so I stopped by on a Thursday. One thing I will say is that when I tried on the skirts so they could be pinned, I had to step into the office to do that so just warning you if you are used to a place that only does tailoring which probably has a dedicated dressing room.
Also worth noting they ask for a deposit which can be any amount YOU choose to do the work. They estimated $ 10 a skirt so I put $ 10 down but could have put any amount. The alterations were done by Monday afternoon. Pretty quick. And done well. And if you are in a hurry and don’t want to walk in, Beacon Cleaners has a drive thru window. Just sayin…

This has been my favorite dry cleaner/​tailor in Raleigh! They are always friendly and fast. The turnaround is great. I’ve come here 3 separate times: once was for getting a dress pressed and the other two times were for hemming my jeans because I am a shorty. I am usually in and out within 2 minutes. They take cards too! You can also pay a little extra to get things done in less than a day! Absolutely love! They also have a drive up area too, but it’s never been so inundated that I couldn’t just walk in.
