I should have read the reviews. I visited their Cameron Village location. I loved the first visit. The sales associate was very friendly, helpful, and seemed to be passionate about the fashion industry. Among several purchases I made, I bought a shirt that I later decided to return. Two weeks later, I went to return the garment– still in mint condition with tags. I was shown their 7-Day return policy sign. I understand store policy, however, I wasn’t returning this shirt out of season, I did not want store credit or cash back. I simply wanted to exchange it for another color. I have returned clothing items, past the date of return, to many locally owned and corporate stores without issue. It seems ridiculous that I am leaving a negative review based on a policy that was obviously stated when I made the purchase, however, the lack of customer service left me frustrated and stuck with a $ 35 shirt that I will never wear. Not a happy customer. Their clothes are cute, but over priced for the quality. Unfortunately, I won’t be back.

Well, what can I say… easy come, easy go! I had a 4 star rating for Fedora and had re-write it. I’m w/Kristen…she’s dead on… the clothes aren’t the best quality, but they are trendy so you have to expect only to wear them a hand-full of times and then chunk them. Of course, they aren’t super expensive either. But, where she really hit the nail on the head is the rudeness of the owner. I’ve gone in nearly half a dozen times and bought 1 – 3 dresses each time. The owner knows me… I always make conversation. Ask her about her new store in Cameron Village, etc, you know try to be nice. Because there is generally only the 2 of us in there. There is just no friendliness in her… she’ll rush you out of there. Each time, I’ll try on 4 – 8 dresses and often buy 2 – 3. This time, she went in and grabbed all the dresses out of my dressing room and rushed me out(I was only there for 25 min). I decided not to buy my dress and pointedly told her… nicely… «if you needed to close, please just tell me… I respect people personal lives, but I’m not buying the dress because you were rude. I refer friends to your store, because you have cute dresses, all the time, but I won’t anymore. « So long Fedora! I’ll buy my cute frocks elsewhere! I know there are other private boutique owners who want to make a go of it!

I have found several cute things here. Unfortunately most of them have fallen apart within a few wears. Never the less, it is a decent place to pick up a cute, trendy top or dress for an occasion; just keep in mind you probably won’t be wearing it more than a couple of times. Another thing that is disappointing about this boutique is the lack of customer service. I finally just stopped going all together after the owner had been blatantly rude to me on several occasions.

This is my favorite boutique in Raleigh. They have great clothes and they get new stuff in regularly. I love the purses and jewelry too. I just wish they had a bit more extra large tops. I have been shopping here for a few years now and really like the unique finds.
