Great food and amazing service. This was my first time to the Raleigh location. We were taken care by Elijah. He truly made our experience wonderful. Elijah gave us some great recommendations on different items on the menu. I took his suggestion and got the Korean BBQ Chicken. It was out of this world. Thank you Elijah and PF Chang’s for a wonderful night!

The three dishes we always order are: lettuce wrap/Szechuan beef and Kung Pao chicken. This time we tried green Beans. So delicious. Cooked with ginger and chili sauce!

We were in Crabtree mall last night and decided to dine-in at PF Chang’s for the dinner. We had a nice dinner but kind of too busy even to walk. The staff was friendly and v prompt. It was nice to have valet service as the parking is utterly ridiculous –it’s really hard it is to find a space. The Chang’s Spicy Chicken was good but it was less in portion size which I didn’t expect. Good flavor and of course yum. Their honey shrimp was so-so. The Chicken Noodle soup was v tasty but it is too hot for my kids. I like soup to be hot but not boiling hot. Overall, it is kind of average experience last night.

I’ve been once and plan on going again. :) Good food with good service! I recommend getting the spring rolls as an appetizer. The sweet and sour chicken for an entrée is a good choice too!

What happened here??? I just took this place of my go to list. My wife and I went there for lunch mid-week. No wait, walked in and was immediately seated. My order, Orange Shrimp, my wife’s was Beef and Broccoli. No appetizers. Seated at the table next to us two women that ordered appetizers and their meal. So, our meal is served. My Orange Shrimp was fried shrimp swimming in a bowl of sickening sweet sugary goo. It was like eating a jar of marmalade. The Beef and Broccoli was floating in a bowl of brown salty sauce with the consistency of molasses. We both agreed it was poor but we were hungry so didn’t say anything. The couple next to us got their meals and no appetizer that they ordered. They explained to the server as he delivered their meal that they were supposed to get appetizers first, he said, «we wanted to get this out to you while it was still hot». Apparently the waitress forgot the app order and the server didn’t seem to care. I just don’t know. The serving staff acted extremely busy but the place was not crowded. The food was worst I have had at any Chinese place, even worse then the little take-out joint down the street that charges less than half the cost. All I can say is what happened here? My guess is they let go of the talent. I wont be going back there anytime soon and if asked I will recommend another place.

We haven’t been here in years and I’m kicking myself as this was such a great place to go for the delicious holiday lunch we had today. Then now have a huge lunch selection, sushi, lettuce wraps, options of adding soup, and quinoa. Service was excellent, table was spacious, bright and cheerful. I had the korean beef and it was wonderful. Great lunch sized portions and a wonderful time at our lunch.

Restaurant was very clean and décor was perfect for an intimate setting. Our waitress was decent. Not as attentive and somewhat forgetful. We had to ask several times for the«heat». The dumplings were amazing(pork and shrimp). The crab wantons were okay a little dry for my taste. We also ordered Mongolian beef(spicy) and Szechuan shrimp(spicy). I loved my Mongolian beef and the Szechuan shrimp was okay. Wish they could’ve kicked up the dish with some real heat. The dirty martinis were superb! Kudos for that. ** no half stars, but if so, 3.5

My very first meal in NC was here, so I would give a good rating just for the memories. So I am a bit biased here. This was also my first visit at a PF Changs. I enjoyed my shrimp dish, nice blend of spices. My only problem was the all too common problem in restaurants — the portion was too small and the price was too high. PF Chang is not cheap. I am not sure I understand the 5 star rave reviews. The décor and atmosphere is very nice though, good place for a date or meeting with a group of friends. Service was very slow, and it was actually not that busy this Saturday. Getting the check took forever. The waitress was nice though and we got talking about this and that. Would consider coming back, although I typically try to avoid chain restaurant food, looking for some better value for money. The location by the mall is an obvious plus.

Enjoyed our dinner last night. We had a huge bowl of egg drop soup. Delicious and be sure to ask for crunchies. Also had steamed pork dumplings and scallop sushi. Scallop sushi not terribly generous, but the others were huge. Friendly, attentive staff.

Everyone I know loses their mind over this place. Me, not so much. Food and service were good but I don’t get why everyone is so gaga over this place. I’ll give it one more shot.

I go here simply for the lettuce wraps. They are so good! Although the atmosphere is nice and the good is pretty on par with others in its cuisine, I feel it’s a bit over priced and over rated. Still tho, can’t go wrong here and its convenient to Crabtree Mall.

I came to this restaurant on a weekday after work with a colleague and loved the service that we got. From the hostess to the waitress(who by the way was in training but we would have thought had been there forever), every one was very nice and attentive. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. The chicken lettuce wraps at the mongolian beef are my favorites.

Browsing Crabtree mall, and decided to drop into PF Chang’s for lunch. Have visited during the evening hours, but never really thought about lunch here. Had a fabulous experience as «Josh«was our server . Very personally and catered to our every need. I was really surprised how many people were enjoying their meals as they were ¾ full on a Monday. Naturally, the food was great, but the service was out-standing. My advise give them a try for the lunch specials and grab«Josh», the epitome of what customer service is supposed to be …

On a recent shopping trip to the mall, I decided to get PF Changs«to go.» I walked right in & was greeted & placed my order. In the time it took me to go grab a frappacino from nearby Starbucks, my order was ready upon my return. I love their lunch specials! So much variety at a good price. I chose the spicy chicken with egg drop soup & of course had to get chicken lettuce wrap appetizer. I also love how they neatly package«to go» orders. Everything is neat & presentation matches your dine in experience. I’m not a fan of their prices & it seems they’re always increasing them. I do enjoy their food though, so it’s nice to splurge every now & again.

Went there yesterday with two friends. It was great. As we walked into the door, we where greeted nicely and only had to wait for five minutes(and this is by a mall) so that was a big +. The atmosphere was great, and waiter was on point. We didn’t have to wait long and he did a great job refilling our drinks. The dined light and the food made it perfect! I ordered the California sushi and let me tell you I loved it. It was fresh and tasted amazing. It was not slapped on a plate like at some restaurants:) Defenetly wish we would have one closer. All in one, great place great food awesome staff. Thumbs up

UPDATE: 8÷28÷15 So I’m always willing to give a restaurant a second chance, especially when it is one of my all time fav cuisines. Well tonight I came back to PF Chang’s in Crabtree Mall, and I am SOOOOGLAD I did! Because the entire dining experience was just AWESOME! First the server, Jill, was nice and friendly. She was super helpful.(+1 for those keeping score). Next the atmosphere was fun, and lively. The music and lights set a cool ambiance(which is huge deal for my wife).(+2). Next the manager, Misty, stopped by to introduce herself and greeted us along and other tables near us.(+3). Next, and probably most important, the food was delicious! And fresh! The beef and broccoli has sole still coming off of it. And the noodles tasted like back home in SF. They even brought us some additional fresh veggie dishes that they thought we would like(like fresh cucumbers and spring beans) and they complimented the meal so well. I usually don’t do this but I found myself still eating even though I was already full… BECAUSE I JUSTNEEDEDANOTHERTASTEOFTHEGOODNESS! Lol(+4). Not sure if they changed chefs or management or what but I can tell you this went from a place that was iffy to pro any one of the best PF Chang dining experiences I have ever had EVER! :) I’ll definitely be coming back. Kudos! —– I’m really not sure why, but this PF Chang’s has been completely hit and miss for me. A few times, it is what I expect which is yummy, healthy, well cooked Chinese cuisine. But the past few visits for dinner with my wife have been mystery theater. One time it was too salty, another time we ordered the chicken and beef and there were a ton of garnishes and hardly any meat. I sat there and looked at my wife completely baffled. I mean, the purpose of ordering a meat entrée is an expectation of receiving meat, am I correct!!! And after brining me a $ 60 bill, I’m thinking, «for what!?!» I’ve been to other PF Chang’s in Calif., Arizona, NY, etc. and they are all pretty good. I’m not really sure why this one in Raleigh is so on and off(lately off). I sooooo want to like them and I want to give them a chance.(insert sad face here) :(

Yes this is a chain but there are times where you visit one and you can really believe that it’s a one-of-a-kind. This visit saw me and my guest sitting in for something to eat in escape of the typical holiday mall traffic. The place was pretty packed with a 40-minute wait time staring us in the face. But since there was two of us the hostess stage-whispered for us to stay near her and she’d get us the first smaller table that opened up. 5 minutes later we were being seated. Our server, and for the life of me I can’t remember her name, was a very pleasant VERYTALL woman who made use of some humor and such to move the meal on well. I opted for a simple fare of pork fried rice(which comes in sufficient size to make three average servings) and my guest went for the lettuce chicken appetizer and a spicy beef dish. Very very good on both counts and we both took food home. All in all a good visit! Will go back again for sure. Happy chop-stickin’!

Another place that is open late and it works to their favor on days when you shop till they kick you out of the mall :) I have eaten here more than a couple of times. This time, we ordered dynamite shrimp and chicken lettuce wraps for appetizers. The way they present the dynamite shrimp has changed. They keep changing it. They use to serve it in a cocktail glass and now it is back to the plate. It definitely tasted different this time. The chicken lettuce wraps are good as always. For entrees, the hunan style catfish has never disappointed us. But today, it was a bit off. The Chang’s Spicy Chicken is far less spicy but a bit too sweet. I had to use sriracha sauce to add to some spiciness. Despite that, it was crunchy. The dan-dan noodles has a interesting slimy texture. It is definitely an acquired taste. Buddha feast is definitely for the cave men/women :p I would give 3 stars for the food but 4 – 5 stars for the service. This time around we had a great service. Service was quick and they were really courteous. It is tough to find courteous and smiling staff at chain restaurants at 10PM in the night. We had to make an early exit and they were very quick to pack our to-gos. One of the few times, I have rated service over food. Bottomline: Good food, Open late and courteous staff.
