Love their brands and selection, but the staff was not very impressive. Loved shopping in the location in Chapel Hill, but multiple times I have been in this store, the girls that work there have been eating and on their cell phones when I was going to ask for assistance. This just makes customers uncomfortable. One time I was in, a friend was trying to convince me to try on a black cocktail dress, but the minute I said that I couldn’t spend that much money on a dress that particular day, I received absolutely no help whatsoever with other things I was trying on. It’s not fun to shop in a store that you are judged by the amount of money you are spending. Not impressed at all by the customer service.

Oh Uniquities — how I wish I could afford to shop there more! I also wish you were located closer to me in Charlotte, but it probably keeps me from ruining my husband’s budget(and our marriage). Uniquities is a fabulous boutique focused on high quality, gorgeous, unique clothes for ladies(sorry gents). Everything I’ve ever bought from them has gotten me a few compliments while standing the test of time. And I have never run into someone wearing the same thing that I bought from Uniquities — they seem to focus on smaller, but high quality designers. I really enjoy browsing through all of the unique pieces, trying on some different styles, and the guidance from the staff. They have suggested that I try on some things I normally wouldn’t even look at and have ended up loving. Yet, they aren’t pushy. The staff are quick note when something doesn’t look great on me and to read my facial expressions when I’m not digging something. It IS pricey, but I also feel like they respect it when I say I’ve got to stay on budget. Major advantages over the mall: not super crowded, easy parking, no rowdy patrons.

This store as as good as it gets, especially for women in their 20s and 30s. I am not originally from the area, and I didn’t expect RTP to have a lot of fashionable options. To my surprise, Uniquities is my favorite boutique ever and the price point trumps most upscale boutiques in larger cities. I brought my friends in from NYC, Chicago, and Miami, and they loved it too. There are plenty of options for under $ 100, but they also carry higher end lines like DVF for statement pieces and long term investment items. The sales staff is adorable and incredibly helpful. I love to stop in on the weekends to browse around and have made friends with many of the ladies working in there. I actually asked if they were paid on commission – which they aren’t – but are as helpful and friendly as if they were motivated to do so. If you are looking to add a little flair to your style, these girls know their stuff too and will pretty much help you re-define your wardrobe and refresh your sense of style. I couldn’t recommend this store enough. Just watch out! You may become addicted!

Cute cameron village boutique with interesting clothing, bags, etc. I really just wanted to browse the store but felt pressured by the sales girl to try things on that I hadn’t even had a chance to look at yet. She did pick out some cute items and while I tried them on she asked me every two to three minutes how I was doing. I found that excessive and irritating. I would have probably bought more had I not felt she was trying to boost her commission check. My last visit was several months ao and I don’t anticipate returning.

I will never shop at Uniquities ever again. I bought a pair of $ 154.00 plus tax jeans in March 2011. I had them altered and picked them up. Once I got them home I realize the hem was not fully attached. The next day I went back to the store and asked if the could re-hem the jeans because the hem wasn’t fully attached. I also asked if the hem could be let out a little because they were shorted than I really wanted. They were very nice about it corrected the problem and had them finished that day. So I went back looked at the hem it looked much better. On my way to my car I noticed a small tear in the back of the jeans. At this point I hated to go back inside but I had not noticed the tear before it must have happened while correcting the hem. It was exactly the size of a sem riping tool. I was told by assistant management they could«fix» the tear. I felt that was completely unfair after all I’ve never even worn the jeans. Then they offered to try to send them back to the manufacture as a defect but called the next day to say they could not be returned because they had been altered. I asked to speak to the owner but apparently she was the one who advised since they had been altered there was nothing they could do except offer to «fix’ the tear. So I bought a patchwork pair of $ 154.00. I can assure you this is the last pair of jeans I’ll buy from Uniquities or anything else for that matter!

I absolutely love this store. Wish I had more money or it was cheaper then it would be perfect. I have shopped here mostly when I was looking for a dress or cute outfit for a birthday or another special occasion. I think the staff here has the right balance of assistance. Not too overbearing but also step in and help when you ask. They have added some everyday items that are less expensive though. Not a huge variety like a department store, but to me this makes it easier to shop and find items. You might sometimes be shopping and find a cute little puppy sniffing your feet which definitely adds to the small business feel. They carry a few brands that I really like such as Theory and Free People. Just so you know, you can’t return items here for a refund and they do have tailoring service if you ask!

A large boutique of slightly off-beat trendy women’s clothing. Lots of dresses and tops, and some jeans and casual pieces as well. According to my fiancée this is a fun place to browse around for outfit ideas, or shop for a party dress. They have an upscale atmosphere but also have an old fashioned movie popcorn machine by the door. The Chapel Hill location has been mentioned in Vogue, Seventeen, Marie Claire, and several times in Lucky. They have good taste that gets noticed on the national scene. This is reflected in the prices. Read: not cheap, but you get what you pay for. They also carry some jewelry, belts, shoes and handbags.

Much bigger than it’s sister store in Chapel Hill, and just as pink. Offers the same great lines(and actually around the same quantity, just more spread out) — Theory, Trina Turk, etc. — plus loads of jeans(mostly 7s, Citizens, Joe’s, and Paige). Great accessories too — if you’re looking for more ‘investment’-type pieces; pashminas priced around $ 40, belts at $ 80-$ 100, and a selection of jewelry. Seems to be kept pretty well staffed; I most recently came here on a weekend, and there were about 6 sales associates on the floor, all eager to help.
