Uh this place is a constant disappointment either they don’t sell what you need or they are out of what they sell. Being they are the same only department store in Ramona don’t really have a choice without driving down to Poway.

For the stores we have in Ramona, Kmart is a store who carries almost anything your looking for. Yes it is a Kmart so what do you expect. I always find the staff very helpful!

I Have to share about the fantastic Holiday Shopping experience I had at K Mart in Ramona. I not only found the perfect gifts for those on my shopping list I had the pleasure of Katrina on the Register. As I was checking out Katrina made sure I was aware of a Warranty available on one of the toys I purchased. She also made sure my Email was in the System. Thanks to Katrina I had a stress Free shopping experience and during the Hectic Holiday Times who could ask for more than that. Reasonable Prices and great Gifts. Thank you K Mart C. Lovejoy

I’m not a big Kmart fan in that for a «discount store» they are a bit pricey. However where Kmart is big in my book is that I have twice ordered Kenmore microwaves here for less than what Sears charge! Plus, I would have had to wait for Sears to ship or have in store where both times the microwaves were available immediately at Kmart. The last time I was at this Kmart I saw a lot of fantastic deals on summer clothing. They don’t quite have down the process for ordering online, picking up in store. The employees have always been nice, though.

Came here to grab a few snacks for a fishing trip. As with most kmarts, they have a little bit of everything you need and even things your don’t. This one is going to be slightly understaffed because of the location, that’s expected. What was a little frustrating was the young girl running the register on check-out. She has a dirty potty mouth, and with kids standing in line, she has no regards. Dropping s*-bombs, I was very surprised. Unfortunately ratings have to suffer due to the customer service I witnessed.

Hey! I like KMart!!! True, it’s the only game in town when comparing stores of this sort. The good? Employees are helpful. When clothes are on clearance, you can get SCREAMING good deals on kids clothes. I just got boys basketball shorts for 2.50 and a bathing suit for daughter for 3.00!!! Not so good? I didn’t have a good experience getting keys copied here. None of them worked. Also, some things are kinda pricey: make up, toilet paper /paper towels and stuff like that I can definitely get cheaper elsewhere. Kmart allows groups like Girl Scouts, 4H, high school teams and cancer walk people do fundraising outside, which is nice for those groups. I like Kmart.

Sears and Kmart know that I haven’t been frequenting them as much, because I keep getting surprise points awarded to my account. Last month and a half I received about $ 23 worth! This is swell and all, but my opinion still stands. This store needs to bring back its video game selection foremost. It should also update the other media in its electronics dept.; why would I buy three different Jurassic Park movies when I can get them bundled and cheaper at BB? And where did the 40 Blu-ray copies of the Amazing Spider-Man come from, can they go back? It needs to bring down the asking price of its health and hygiene products(really ALL of the stuff is $ 2 over-priced), it needs to actually keep its well trained staff and stop pulling high school grads. ITNEEDSTOSELLJEANSANDUNDERWEARINSIZE29! Do you know how many skinny tweaker guys live in Ramona, Kmart? More than the number of guys with 40″ waists trying on skinny jeans… I love the Shop Your Way points that these two companies toss out. But that doesn’t make up for the other issues plaguing this corporate cooperative. They do have a better selection of automotive, tools, and fishing over Targé, but that’s not saying anything. And on the subject of tossing out, toss out those annoying appliance emails you keep tossing me. I’ll tell YOU when I’m ready for a new freezer!

Went here after our late breakfast. Husband had some money to spend here. My daughter picked out a little Lego set. I don’t normally shop for stuff at K Mart. I saw a lot of cute costume jewelry and cute dresses for my daughter. They had Easter baskets on sale for 50% off. I guess they are trying to get rid of their Easter stuff. There is just so many items here such as clothing, shoes, make up, costume jewelry and so much more. The store was clean and organized. There is plenty of parking in front of the store. I don’t frequent K Mart too often but my husband likes coming here because he has a K Mart card. Personally, I don’t shop here. I just like to browse. Not one of my favorite places to go.

I used to avoid shopping here when I first moved to Ramona, but gave it a try when I was not in the mood to drive out of town. They don’t carry a lot of the same products as the bigger chain stores. And if they do the prices are $ 2-$ 3 more; which is a shame. But I guess it’s worth driving 5 minutes instead of the 20 to go out of town.

I have never shopped at kmart before I moved here. I am a target girl, but this is a decent stand in since there is no where else to shop with 5 miles. Everyone is really helpful and are always busy but willing to stop and say«hey you need anything?» One thing that drives me absolutely crazy about this store is the amount of room in the isle, there is none. really got to fix that

Not a good experience. Looking for a humidifier for my wife. Staff was less than helpful and didn’t want to suggest one product over another. «I don’t give recommendations in regards to quality» said one employee as she walked away. So we walked away. Um…thanks. You’re lucky there is no Walmart or Target in town or you would be gone like a lot of the other Kmarts. Yuck… what an uncomfortable customer service experience.

This store is probably the best one I’ve been to in San Diego, it has everything i need and the staff is pretty helpful the only problem i had was a staff member told me that a wireless keyboard is the same as a Bluetooth keyboard which its totally not. lol anyways i corrected him and had to buy one online because Kmart does not carry them so its why im giving it a low score

The employees seem OK, but the store is constantly out of EVERYTHING. I’m talking about basic things, not rare virgin oil from the hills of Italy. If something is on sale, forget about it. If you aren’t there at the crack of dawn at the start of a sale, it’s gone. I went in for pacifiers for my baby and the only ones they had left were the super expensive ones. I asked an employee if they had any more in the back and she said«Oh no, we’ve been out of those for a while.» Really? Oh, and did I mention that everything is much more expensive than Walmart?

Okay. I worked here for 4 years. I’ve been to all the other Kmart in San Diego and Ramona literally has the nicest one. I don’t know why everyone expects to walk in to Jesus’s vagina when they enter the store, but they do. It’s a freaking Kmart. By the way, the reason all the employees all seem like they are«grumpy» or «hate their job/life» is because about 7 out of 10 of the customers we had to deal with are either rude or seem to lack common sense. By the way. When you order things online to get shipped to your house, it doesn’t mean it’s coming from the nearest Kmart. It’s coming from a store that has the most in stock. So don’t walk in thinking you have a license to kill. Good god, have any of you worked in retail before?

Not all bad. I’ve lived in Ramona for 20 years and have come to a realization that this is as good as it gets. Depending on what you need it, l be a hit and miss. I’ve had many experiences when I’ve had someone who just looks likes they hate their job. CRAFTSMEN is the best item their for me. and if you can’t go down the hill we have to settle for Kmart. Long live Target is all I have to say.

Great expierence with a woman named Jeanine. She is so nice I love going in to see her. most of the other managers there are rude. I enjoy having this store to pick up items but I would not shop here for everything

I give 3 stars for a couple of reasons. Let me start off saying that I do appreciate that we have a k-mart, but with us having a CVS and Rite Aid there’s really no reason to have it. Their clothes aren’t the best quality. Also, there’s never the brands I want for things such as my razor refills or shampoo. The employees all seem to ignore me, look unhappy to be there or be alive. I feel our town would benefit so much more from a Target. I’m really surprised they are still in business. But I do like that the store is organized and clean. That does make me happy.

We all know Kmart sucks. This Ramona store is no exception. I am glad to have this store in town and do shop there for last minute needs I did not get while«down the hill». However, the place is a crap-hole. From the employees to the items in stock to the selection. If you do go, be sure to poop at home first, because the restrooms are always full of everyone elses crap already. FILTHY and vandalized, always!

It sucks having a Kmart as the only department store in Ramona. While it is lucky that we have a department store, I would not say it is lucky that we have a Kmart. Kmart is the most awful department store EVER and I swear the one in Ramona is the only one left ANYWHERE. We need to upgrade to a Target. The employees are also pretty grumpy all the time. We should upgrade those as well.
