My better half bought me a guitar for Christmas here. Beautiful sounding instrument with a built-​in tuner. I have no complaints with the guitar. I have been doing something wrong with the tuning process so called today and spoke with Kenny about getting it tuned. He said for me to bring it in and he would tune it for me. When I got to the store, he did that and also told me what I had been doing wrong, without making me feel stupid in any way. He is a very knowledgeable and nice man.
The only thing keeping me from giving this place 5-​stars is that I got a coupon for a free music lesson with the Christmas gift and haven’t been able to use it. I have called 3 different months and was told that the man that gives the lesson was busy at the moment and would call me back, and he never did. No big deal for me any more, Youtube has been a great teacher, but it does keep me from giving this business a perfect score.

I’ve bought and sold here for years and have always found the prices good. This place has high quality teachers, repair work, and customer service, but is a little slow on services some times.

When you think of small town music stores, you generally don’t think about price and selection. If you make an assumption in this case, you are wrong on both counts! John Haaz runs the store, as well as the full-​service after hours recording studio, and goes above and beyond to assure his customers satisfaction. Need an instrument repaired? Look no further! My daughter’s flute has been in several times for leak repairs/​adjustments and pad replacements, and the repairs are done quickly at a reasonable cost. John is also a huge supporter of the local school music programs, as well as the Ramona Music Scene in general. He regularly helps to organize open-​mic nights and jam sessions, and the annual Ramona Music Festival. If you want to know what’s happening in the music scene in Ramona (or San Diego County for that matter), just drop in and say «Hi»!

I don’t expect a small music store to be competitive with price… but everything I have bought there was as good or better than I could find on the internet… so nice! Friendly, helpful service… I go out of my way to visit them.

Ramona Music Ctr. has everything and is priced well. Fun place. My wife and I have bought some neat stuff there, like an antique stand up Bass. Then they restored it for us…
