Green Mango Thai Bistro

Food was not what we expected from authentic Thai food and not well cooked. We ordered two vegetarian dishes.
Glass noodle pad Thai with a sweet and sour tamarind sauce. The sauce tasted entirely like sugar and had no depth of flavor. The vegetables were cut unevenly– some were raw and some were overlooked.
We also ordered Eggplant with bell pepper and bamboo shoot. The eggplant was raw, as were the bell pepper and onion. So disappointing!
I would not come back here. Upon arrival, my plate was dirty and when my water glass was filled it spilled all over the table and the server didn’t clean it up. They also brought 1 dish before the other– which is service 101. No one wants to eat alone or wait for the other dish to arrive and have their food get cold. When they asked how the food was, we told them honestly and they didn’t respond– only said «many customers like it like that.» Ok– but we don’t.

This place is perfectly fine. I’m not sure what the problem is.
I always come buy for takeout. They do a great job of making sure everything is packed and doesn’t spill. And, my order is always ready AHEAD of schedule. The hostess and waitresses are always very nice and accommodating. I know that there may have been some issues with service in the past but if my visits have been any indication it looks that they have sorted all of that out. For sure come in and give them a try.

There are a lot of excellent and amazing Thai foods that i ve ever had over here. Once isn’t enough!!!
Dancing Duck is my favorite and also the awesome massa-​mun beef… Haaaa i wanna try another pretty dish as soon as possible

I come here a lot but today I was highly disappointed! We asked for an order of fried rice and the chef did NOT want to make a batch and told us because it was almost 3pm we ended up leaving without eating. I was completely turned off by their customer service or lack there of! I’ll never eat here again

Not busy since we came on a Super Bowl Sunday. Plenty of parking since it’s a big parking complex shared with other restaurants. Ordered Drunken Noodles w/​Shrimp (+$ 2 since it’s shrimp), Angry Beef, & Golden Chicken Curry. All were delicious!!! We ordered all of them mild. We’ll definitely come back!!!

The smallest portion I’ve ever seen. Even plain rice is extra charge. I ordered mango sticky rice to go after dining there and when I got home it was just a tiny small rice inside and they charged over $ 2.00 for it. I xalled the manager and told her they made a mistake and she said she will give me the mango rice next time but still need to charge the difference in price from plain rice and sticky rice, even though it was their miatske! Poor customer service, no wonder this place is always empty. Never again!

My favorite is the Tofu Long Soung (tofu with spinach and peanut sauce). I also love the mango and sticky rice. Great service.

Friendly service, fresh Thai food. Chicken on lettuce wraps, very tasty well done fresh crispy lettuce. Spring rolls pretty average nothing too exciting they were hot it’s about all I can say. Pad Thai was well executed noodles or how I like them al dente veggies were a little sparse but the flavor was right on lots of delicious fresh cilantro and a huge lime wedge chopped peanuts and peanut sauce tasted homemade and tangy.

I’d give this place a 0 if I could. I had a horrible Head cold and my BF decided to stop for some Thai food with some soup in hopes to make me feel better. He arrived around 7:45 thinking it was prime time for dinner but nope, A completely EMPTY restaurant with the owner sitting at the bar sipping on some wine! He ordered Pad Thai with chicken, beef Pad Se Ew and a «large» Tom yum soup with chicken. total came out to close to $ 40 and reason being was because «beef is more expensive» but where’s the beef though??? It was definitely short of beef if you ask me!! Pad Thai was extremely dry and flavor was lacking! HORRIBLE! And when my BF asked if the soup size was a large which clearly looked like a medium, the owner casually drinking his wine at the bar states «oh, that’s large.» well… ok, then !! We don’t mind spending a good dollar on some «good» food, but that food sure as heII better be good !!! Should we have known we would’ve just gone to SANAMS off Indian Hill in Claremont or even NEXT DOOR to fat burger !! such a fcking joke. no wonder it was empty… SMH :(never again. goodbye !

We just moved into the apartment complex next to this location. Our first night in our new home we had dinner here and LOVED it. The Drunken Noodle is AMAZING! Loved the authentic dishes, inviting atmosphere and welcoming staff. If you are in the area and tired of all the fast food places around here, stop by and give it a try…

We love this place!!! The food and service is amazing and we will be coming back again and again! Not to mention that my husband left a Visa gift card here last night and they were honest and kind and kept the card for us to pick up this morning. Thank you Green Mango! You will always have our patronage!

Stumbled in here because I was in the Tom Ka soup mood and HOLY COW!!! So good! We ordered the beef salad, the chicken satay, and that tom ka tofu soup. They were all so delicious I can’t choose a favorite, but I do know I need to come back ASAP and make my way through their whole menu. I love this place! so glad we stumbled in. It might be the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. I just wish I didn’t live so far away. I’ll be back for sure.

this is the BEST Thai food I’ve ever had. I enjoy the drunken noodles, spicy fried rice, and sticky rice with mango. I’ve been been here for lunch and dinner and never have a wait — I am always seated right away. the service is generally good, the servers are always nice and friendly, but don’t necessarily check back or replenish your beverage. but the food is great! really fresh and flavorful. this is my favorite Thai food, by far.
Also, the spice levels are kind of intense, so be careful when you order. :)

The food was actually pretty good, until I found a long white hair in it. It definitely was not mine and when we brought up the issue, they sent or let the owner’s friend come to our table and harass us about it… In front of my two, very young children! I don’t ever review an establishment when I did not have a good experience, but this was an experience like no other! Do not and will not ever recommend this place!

Went here for lunch today. Ordered my food and waited 50 minutes! Yes you heard that right 50 minutes and my food never came out. I asked several times and they kept saying it’s coming. They brought my friend’s food out, he finished his meal and yet I was still waiting. As I was leaving the manager was telling me to stay and he would compliment me dessert! Hello I want 50 minutes of my life back! What a waste of time!
Obviously, the service was horrible. But why bring my friend’s food out… Do you think we went to eat together we would uh maybe, actually want to eat together. And really manager, comp my dessert, you should have offered to comp my table’s bill.
Horrible service. Never again! Do not waste your time. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
In case you’re wondering what I ordered, well it was just their lunch special. If you can’t make the dish timely, do not make it your lunch special!!!

The Thai tea was awesone, when ever I crave some I just pick some up here. So far the food I’ve had was delicious the seafood soup with white rice, house fried rice, and shrimp Noddles love it all.

Need to give more food. Portions are so small. Ordered the lunch specials but charged me dinner pricing and lunch portions. Smh

I tried for the first time today. The food I ordered is a solid 3.5 stars (i have had really good thai food and really really bad thai food, and while this isn’t the best its far from the worst). I ordered the angry chicken with the hottest spicy level in a lunch portion, which cost me 9.86 with tax. Overpriced? Yes. And I don’t know if they just forgot to make my order spicy? but it was very mild tasting definitely not spicy. I would be a regular if it wasn’t so ridiculously expensive for a plate if mostly noodles :/​and if you look at the menu pic they tack on an extra $ 1 – 2 for different meat (shrimp i get but beef seriously?) On the plus side! It was very clean inside. I took my order to go cause I had a short lunch but if I decide to eat here again I would probably dine in.

I came here for lunch and ordered the pinang salmon. I thought it was perfect. I was amazed at the 40 different lunch plates you had to choose from. Each lunch special came with soup, steamed or fried rice, and a cream cheese wonton.
I didn’t care for the service. I was sat without a menu which was awkward. Then I was never checked on or asked for a refill. Took 10 min or so to get my check. There were only 3 tables seated.

My cousin took me here a long time ago & the only thing i remember is the fried tofu! I like all curry so if i dont remember it being bad, it was definitely good :)
They also have good thai tea here.
Service is okay
But i love the location its walking distance from my cousins apartment. :D
