LA Carpet helped me with an urgent install! I was moving into an apartment and needed carpet within two days! They spent a lot of time finding carpet that was in stock and were able to accommodate a quick turnaround! Great customer service! Thanks!

Great experience getting my upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs recarpeted. I took advantage of a 50% sale which saved me a lot of money, but I didn’t receive 50% service. Instead, I still got 100% service from Edwin and the install crew. Edwin came in on a Sunday morning to measure my house and the install date was scheduled around my needs which is much appreciated.
Based on my experience, I am considering having additional areas in my downstairs switched to carpeting because the price was right, the service was great, and the carpet itself looks beautiful.

Wow, I guess I was the unfortunate customer who missed out on the great service from this company. I called and spoke to a lady and asked if I could get an estimate for carpet and floor and she took my information and stated someone would call me. A few days later I get a call and speak to a gentleman about an estimate and asked if he could come ANY time on the Friday of that week because I had the day off from work. We booked a time in the afternoon, but he asked if he had to change the time could he call me back and maybe come in the morning. I reiterated that it was fine as long as it was on that Friday when I was going to be home. No phone call; nobody showed up. Business must be great if you feel you could just blow off a customer without so much as a courtesy call…

We recently had an install of Mohwak carpet last week and the service we received was great! Both Shawn and Edwin were personable and professional. My husband and I just bought our first home and the previous owners definitely did a number on it. Our main issues were the floors and kitchen. We received an ad about this place and saw it on Unilocal,so we decided to check it out. I arrived first and was greeted by Edwin. I let him know our needs and he guided me to the materials that he thought would work best. My husband arrived shortly after and helped make some final selections. Edwin then scheduled a visit to our home to get all the measurements for quotes and brought the materials with him to get an idea how they would work in our space. He was very patient with us as we worked up several scenarios, before deciding on one that would meet our needs and stay within our budget. Edwin was great with helping us get financed and to get everything scheduled within the short time frame I had given him (less than 2 weeks) before we moved in. All the work was done by move-​in day. He was in communication with me almost daily, which I appreciated. The staff were quick and did a great job with the floors. There were some issues with the cabinet installation, which is why i didn’t give 5 stars. I also appreciated that Edwin was able to get us a free area rug, when I had realized I had forgotten to give him my Unilocal check in coupon for $ 100 off our order. Will definitely recommend them to others and for future projects we will have on our home.

My wife and I visited LA Carpet over the 4^th of July weekend looking for new laminate wood flooring for our home. We were met by Edwin, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Edwin showed us the laminate wood selections and explained that the store was currently having a holiday sale. We were pleased to learn that the installation, moisture guard/​padding, sales tax, & moving of large furniture was all included in the price of the product. We decided to go with a nice 12 mm laminate wood, which includes a 30 year warranty, and made the arrangements for Edwin to come out to our house for measurements later in the week.
Edwin arrived promptly and was able to measure the bottom floor of our house (approximately 800 square feet) in less than an hour. Edwin then added the baseboards and transitions, as well as the cost of the demo (.30/​ft for carpet and $ 1.50/ft for tile) to provide us with a quote which was right around what I was expecting to pay, so we decided to close the deal that night. I was approved for 60 months 0% financing after a 20% deposit was paid. We booked installation for the following week which took 2.5 days to complete. I was also informed that LA Carpet doesn’t subcontract the installations, which I was glad to hear. The installers were very friendly and professional.
My wife and I are very satisfied with the new laminate wood flooring and we feel that the overall experience dealing with LA Carpet was great. We will be referring our friends to this location to see Edwin.
