Red Persimmon Nail Bar

Will NOT be back! Today was my first and last time going to this nail salon. This salon has the most unfriendly girls working there. Recomendation: .Try and SMILE and act like you want the business when the customer sits down. Try and say THANK YOU when your customer leaves. Try to act like you want to be there. There are so many nail salons in this town and this one does not stand out. Too bad. I had a wedding party of 10 girls that I wanted to make reservations for numerous services. Go to the other 15 nail salons in RSM that would be eager for your business… This salon could care less!

The ladies who work there are really sweet but the lady at the front, who I am assuming is the owner is terrible. Her communication is terrible and when I asked her how much something would be she said she would come back and never did. It ended up being super expensive and when I questioned her she made no effort to accommodate me. Even the sweet lady doing my nails said she should have known what I wanted wasn’t what I should have gotten knowing i wanted gel polish. The lack of customer service is unbelievable– what ever happened to the customer is always right? Happy Nails is literally around the corner so next time that’s where I will be going. I can’t stand rude people and bad customer service. She is sitting doing her own nails while all of these hard working women are doing everything else. The one thing she has to do and she can’t even do that right not to mention her English is either terrible or she pretends as if it is. If that is the case she shouldn’t be the one communicating what the customer wants and/​or the fees associated with it.

This place is the BEST! I highly recommend Hannah and Nancy they always do a amazing job and they go above and beyond when it comes to customer service !! :)

Pretty decent nail salon. They do a great job with your feet. Got some fun gel nails done and it turned out cute. Very happy with the service, everyone is really friendly.

Hannah is absolutely amazing her attention to detail is off the charts, she is the only person i will go see to do my nails!

Worst experience — using latex gloves for a hand massage was not my idea of relaxation. Who wants to be rubbed with hot lotion and latex!
The chair didn’t work and all of their nail polishes seem to be refilled with something other than the original nail polish.

Love this salon. They never try to push other services, very clean and staff is knowledgeable. Favorite tech is Hannah as she gives the best foot and leg massage.

Great for a Pedi, NANCY is wonderful! I like when I say «I don’t like getting pedicures» she makes it as comfortable as possible! (Always have to look my best) The facility is nice, comfy and CLEAN! All the gals are great and so sweet! Nancy is my favorite pedicurest, very gentle and caring! Plus side, love the music, it’s a nice trip back to the good days of adult contemporary :) Always will take my business here! Thank you Red Persimmon!

Hami is the best for pedicures! Your feet will be smooth and callous free. She really takes her time to ensure that her work is complete. I haven’t found anyone who can compair.

First time here and brought my mom for Mother’s Day. My mom enjoyed it very much. Will be back.

This place is clean and not one of those soup kitchen type places. You know the ones that are ghetto? Red Persimmons has a professional atmosphere and is sterile and definitely has a qualified staff. Pro nail and Hair is like a zoo, so I stopped going there and tried Red Persimmons. It’s uncomfortable to get girls screaming and fighting over clients when you come through the door and Red Persimmons is actually a relaxing experience. NO one is yelling and trying to constantly bug you with upsale and harassing you to spend more money etc… It’s nice to come into a place and just relax and be treated well without sounding like monkeys are screaming. Red Persimmons is a wonderful place to go and relax, the way one is supposed to at a salon.

The price was good. They welcomed our business even though we came in 10 min before closing. We didn’t feel rushed. If we are back I’m the area, we will return

This place gives a great pedicure and if it weren’t for the experience discussed below, this might’ve been a four star. BUT…
they fail to inform you that when they say «we accept debit» what they really mean is «we’ll charge you like an ATM so that your bank charges you a $ 3+ ATM fee on the back end.» I had no idea that when they swiped my card and had me enter my pin, that they were processing the transaction as if I was taking out cash at an ATM. I didn’t realize this was happening until I saw a non-​Wells Fargo ATM fee on my bank statement. I found this to be at best dishonest, and more likely totally illegal.

Fantastic Nail Salon! Hannah & Lea are terrific. The salon is so clean and pretty. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I am very picky about my pedicures and these are the best I have ever had. Can’t recommend it enough.

The place is super clean, bright and airy. Tools are sterilized and immaculate. Spa chairs are comfortable. The owner, Christine, was in a car accident and hurt her back so she no longer «schleps» in water. Magazines are current. Lollipops and red licorice to snack on. The ladies are polite and attentive and speak quietly when necessary but don’t make one feel like they’re talking about you.
Hana gives THE best manicure I’ve had in the last 30 years. Her gel manicure is phenomenal, albeit expensive at $ 32. Pedicures are mediocre; the bottom of my feet seems rougher AFTER I emerge from the salon, seemingly because the long soak leeches all the natural oils out of my skin. Lotion doesn’t seem to help .
All in all, I highly recommend the gel manicures. The pedicures were unremarkable.

I wish I would have found this place sooner! Very clean facility and excellent service. Hami was very thorough and did a fantastic job on my pedicure. I will definitely be back!

I liked this nail salon. I have tried many in the area and disliked them based upon various reasons. All of the staff here is friendly and welcoming. The only complaint I have is that they don’t have a very wide color selection to choose from.

This place is just –meh.
They aren’t very easy on your hands. I’ve gotten some cuts on my cuticles from their roughness while doing my nails.
They don’t have many gel colors to choose from.
My latest gel mani did last a long time. I was pleased with that.

Ladies, what are our biggest nail salon pet peeves? The dreaded up sell, foreign language chatter and not using sterile instruments, am I right? High marks for Red Persimmon for making two out of three peeves a little less annoying.
This salon is super clean from the décor to the floor to the mani-​pedi tools they use. That’s a big one. Because let’s face it… no one is sexy with a bacterial infection.
The ladies speak quietly to each other and seemingly only when necessary. None of those suspicious thoughts of «are they talking about me?».
Low marks on not having an affordable pedicure that includes everything. My gal tried to up sell me a few times and that gets annoying. I don’t want a $ 25 pedicure to become a $ 40 one. I want a $ 25 pedicure that includes the works. And no! I don’t want a freakin’ flower on my toe, I’m an adult for god’s sake!
Like many others have elicited to… I’d really like a nail «bar» where I can sip a glass of champagne. If this were to ever happen (I know, dream on!), then I’d be back in a heart beat.
