*** Pitstop Review (Rancho Santa Margarita) ***
This Is a lovely well manicured park in Rancho Santa Margarita (RSM as the locals call it). This is one of the many beautiful cities in South O.C. I just pulled over for a few minutes to stretch my legs and take a bio-​break. It has been a few weeks since I’ve felt the warm sunshine on my face, and it was really nice to just slow down (if not just for a few minutes) and enjoy the scenery. I was going to say «smell the roses», but there weren’t any :-) ha ha ha…
Here’s what I liked…
* Lovely well manicured park. Many cities in the master planned communities of South County are the gold standard (I believe) that other cities should strive to be like.
* The restroom was unlocked and clean! I don’t see this often where the restroom at a public park is both open and clean at the same time! This certainly says a lot about the people and community.
* No graffiti to be seen anywhere or weirdos loitering in sight.
* Couldn’t feel anymore safe to hang out .
Here’s what I didn’t like…
* Nothing comes to mind.

Members of SAMLARC with SAMLARC gate access ID cards are able to access the beautiful and clean heated pools at the Solana park located off of Via Regressos and Melinda Road in Rancho Santa Margarita.
This park sports a heated Junior Olympic sized pool as well as a tiny tot pool. There are multiple clean restrooms and a large lattice covered area, so pool-​goers have the option to lay out in the sun or partial shade. In passing from the parking lot, we saw a cute playground area, basketball court and athletic fields in a distance.
Yet another reason to be grateful to live in such a beautiful city!

Cute park for the neighborhood! Well lit, very open, have yet to see any big dogs there… gonna change that with my Cane Corso though. Highly recommend it for the kids! Has two large fields for baseball, HOA card accessible pool and toilet area, kiddie playground, large covered gazebo for parties, multiple BBQ grills in great shape, and ample parking.
