The director, Lia Malcolm, is a fabulous lady, who has loads of performing experience under her belt. With her training and career at the Royal Ballet and her career in the commercial side of dance, Lia is a highly qualified teacher for many styles of dance. She runs an extremely professional dance studio and provides excellent training. Not only does Lia provide top-​notch training, she also instills a passion and a love for dance in each student that never dies. Her end-​of-​the-​year shows feature even more of her tremendous talent. From the outstanding and high-​quality choreography, staging, costumes, lighting, sound, and music, Dance Elite’s shows parallel dance shows done in the professional dance world. This creates an extremely unique and beneficial experience for the students as performers to know how a show is done and how to handle one, if seeking a professional career in dance or any performing art. Not only do Lia’s classes and shows prepare students for a future career in the performing arts, but a future career in any field – great life lessons and work ethics are learned when enrolled here at Dance Elite!
