What a magnificent find: part of the Berlin Wall standing in this beautiful Memorial Park. I was excited to see it, the history behind it, serving as yet another reminder that freedom can so easily be taken away.

Free of charge, open to public, located outdoors in Rapid City’s Memorial Park, walking distance of rose gardens. Features two 12 ft segments of the original Berlin Wall and some WWII tank traps, accompanied by interpretative placards. Helps the visitor appreciate freedoms.
