Love the salads but disappointed that they don’t have any gluten free bread options but consider themselves in the bread business. Shortsighted and disappointing.

Save yourself the stress and money and GOSOMEWHEREELSE. We were charged for an extra sandwich that we DIDNOT order! And everything we DID order was wrong. They were out of french bread, tomato basil bread, whole wheat, AND focaccia, but only told us this after the order was placed and paid for(so it was too late to walk out). My frontega chicken panini had no basil. My sister’s roasted turkey avocado BLT had A SINGLE slice of bacon and no avocado. My mother’s salad had a single piece of avocado. And she requested bacon on the side, but they put it on. She doesn’t eat pork, so she had to physically pick the bacon pieces out with her fingers… Plus, some manager-looking man was verbally berating the line cooks in front of several customers. We paid $ 37.82 for food that was either messed up or unordered. I’m still fuming and I certainly won’t be eating here anymore.

First time at this Panera Bread, and the food was good as usual, but the staff and the service was amazing. The General Manager of the store, Michael Storie, was one of the best restaurant managers we have ever experienced. He customized my wife’s order to meet her needs for a no carbs/no sugar meal, and took charge of the situation because he really cared, and he took the time and effort to do it wonderfully.

I won’t rave about the service!! actually I once did! But it got shitty over the last 4 years. Not happy they got rid of my favorite«French onion soup!» However the chicken noodle is one of my favorite! Not happy they got rid of the Cuban panini however I found a substitute; the«chicken Cesar» which is tasty but still not happy they got rid of my favorites!

Overall, I’m a pretty big fan of the Panera brand. The food quality is good and they’re usually pretty consistent with the finished product. This is the location just off the Somerville circle next to Staples and near Toys r Us. This was actually my first time at this particular location and I came for dinner. I’m going 2 stars for this place because the ordering process was completely inefficient. It took entirely too long. It was almost as if they did not want to take customer’s orders. On the flip side, the food was good. I actually never have an issue with the quality. In fact, I liked my meal. I’d probably give this place another shot and chalk this up to being near closing time but I’ll be expecting more on my next visit.

The sourdough bread bowl is excellent. Love it with the Brocolli Cheddar Soup. Tasty on the inside and crusty on the outside. Highly recommend!

We ordered out for yet another working lunch meeting. I cannot describe the service since I was not the one who ordered or picked up the order. I had the Greek salad with chicken. It was great. I had no complaints at all. There was lots of chicken and it was tasty. I just enjoyed the balance of all the ingredients blending together. Everything seemed fresh. The portion size was appropriate for a lunch salad as well. Will I go back? Yeah, no doubt.

Ok, I’m a fan of Panera but I recently ordered a «Bacon Turkey Bravo» and got half a strip of bacon… what?(Photo provided) I didn’t even taste it in the sandwich so I am quite disappointed. Why bother even having it?! Don’t cheap out, Panera.

Want something fast and tasty, then head to your local panera and enjoy a turkey bacon bravo. One of the better sandwiches to choose from on the menu. They do some pretty tasty breakfast food also.

Yes, this is a chain, however; I am impressed with how polite and professional the staff seem to be. In particular, Heather who is one of the managers is always super sweet, sincere, and is on a first name basis with many customers! The only thing is that the layout is alittle bizarre and this giant support beam makes it very awkward to maneuver through the line when it’s busy. All in all, very consistent, friendly and Heather gives it that Mom n Pop charm I crave.

I worked at this Panera Bread for about a yr and some months and saw how everything worked behind the scenes. I cannot express to you enough that really whatever they do it’s always for the people. The food is amazing, a little expensive in my opinion, but you get what you pay for. The soups are always hot and ready to serve and the sandwiches are really made right after your order goes through in the front. Pastries are either donated during certain days of the week or given out amongst each other at the end of the night, being that a baker comes in every single night to bake fresh bread for the next day! Definitely recommend this lunch spot

This particular Panera bread is fantastic for gluten free eating. As someone with ciliac, I often worry about cross-contamination in a place that has bread products all over. However, the manager of this location is fantastic, I come in and place my order saying I have the problem and the manager personally looks up my meal in the allergy guide and has the employees change their gloves and use separate bowls to make my salad. Never ever had a problem from eating here, food is tasty! Would highly recommend.(I also have never had this good of service from any other Panera unfortunately).

Panera is a chain, this one fairly average in relation to the others I’ve been to. I like their half soup half sandwich lunch specials and order frozen coffee every now and then. I did not have issues here with service or food quality. After five minutes of waiting, I got a seat at this location — but perhaps the post Black Friday lunch crowd was an anomaly? I did observe the staff cleaning up tables and walking around a lot, which was nice. The two star review is actually more a reflection of the parking situation at the Somerville Circle Center, which is just poorly designed, crowded, and has a ton of blind spots. I would think twice about coming here just to avoid the parking lot. While that isn’t something Panera has control of, it does affect my experience as a buyer. Sorry.

The server Kaitlyn was incredibly helpful and made a killer latte! Proper foam and crema on the espresso made it delicious. Keep up the good work! Also the grilled cheese was clutch.

I love Panera Bread chains in general. No matter what location, the food is fresh and prepared well. Their bread bowl soups are my favorite, especially the tomato basil. Usually with a meal you can get a baked item for just .99 cents. The m&m cookies are large and melt in your mouth. I have found that their iced green tea is the best. Sometimes I swing on by just to pick one up on the way home because they are so refreshing and healthy too. This location in Raritan is the one I go to most of the time because it is so close to where I live. I agree with others that the parking lot can be crazy, sometimes horrendous and it can get quite packed. Only a few times I’ve found empty tables that have been left dirty or drinks spilled on them. Otherwise their staff does a pretty good job of cleaning up, even taking empty trays from people too lazy to drop them off upfront themselves. The ambience is nice and cozy when it’s not too crowded. There was a Panera I was in once where they had a fire place and it was the best. Overall, I enjoy eating here. Great for a quick lunch with a friend.

This location is in a shopping center, so there’s plenty of parking in the lot. The service I’ve received here has been friendly, and they seem to have an efficient set up. Most weekends the dining area is filled with people on laptops and tweens with their moms, probably taking a break from shopping. You can typically find a table though :)

I frequent Panera once or twice a month, and I was a little upset by my last visit because of the updated food packaging they’re using. I used to get my food in a single bag that was adequately sized to fit the amount of food I was purchasing. Yesterday, I got a sandwich, chips and a cookie. The cookie was already in a bag, and the cashier asked if I wanted to put it in a bag while still standing at the cash register. I politely refused, and walked to the food pickup counter to wait for my food. I was then surprised to see a food shopping sized paper bag placed on top of the counter when my pager went off. The larger bag contained the sandwich(in a new paper carton — not sure what was wrong with just wrapping it in wax paper the way they used to), and another bag with the chips & napkins placed inside of it. I know that most of the packaging was recyclable, but not everyone recycles. If less packaging garbage is given out at the point of sale, then less garbage will go into landfills.

This Panera location is very busy which is a good thing because the food is fresh. They have friendly service. The only down side is the seating. It took a while to get a table.

I used to love Panera years ago… but i feel like they have lost a lot of their quality. Sandwiches are premade, and the french onion soup was just too salty. Better bet is to go to a local deli… at least the cold cuts will be cut fresh.
