The food was excellent. The portions are huge so you should split it with someone. The service sucks. It’s slow, the waitress we had was very rude and unfriendly. Other than that the food was excellent. The atmosphere of the place is great.

Will keep this short! Food is awesome as usual! Large portions and great flavor. Had the Chicken Marsala, it was very good. There were five in our party, I arrived before everyone else and it was early enough that I could seat myself. Had a large table in the back with big glass windows and a nice view overlooking the street. Always great service here. If you haven’t been here in awhile, you should try it again. If you still don’t like it… then it’s YOU not THEM!

Wish they had more competition. Not the greatest but no where else delivers around here. Franks is way better wish they delivered.

Had the mussels marinara and vodka penne. Both were delicious. The sauce was wonderful with the mussels. Great for dipping the bread. Only complaints… Bread was so so and the wine choices were very limited.

This place is absolutely horrible. I don’t think they have ever cleaned the place. The waitresses had no clue what they were doing. She brought out someone’s hot sandwich to our table 20 minutes before the rest of us and it was cold and soggy – it had obviously been sitting for awhile. We sat there for over an hour, asked for the manager and he finally came over and yelled at us! The waitress obviously forgot to put our order in and he argued with us that we weren’t there when we were. Don’t ever go here… They suck and the food isn’t even good. Go to Sebastianos on Perkiomen. They have a clean place(no spit on the windows, dirty floors and tables, etc), their food is much much better for less the price(and you get huge portions too with AYCE salad bar), and have good service. I’ve never been treated the way I was there at a restaurant and have bad food. How can you mess up pasta???

Best place for pizza in the 20 mile vicinity. The dinners are delicious too, and they give generous portions. Always treated with respect when I go for takeout. Have been going here for years and have shared our enthusiasm for the place with many friends and family throughout the years. Highly recommended.

One of several restaurants in the tiny village of Stony Creek Mills(where there used to be a huge mill at the big intersection before they moved Antietam Road — and it probably employed the whole town), Esposito’s has evolved into multiple sections and become pretty spacious. The one in the city burned down a few years ago. It looks to be a casual Italian growing(or exploding) out of an old schoolhouse building, which was a well-known bar before my time, I am told. The idea of making a bar out of a school always struck me as interesting, and I wished I could get a look in the old building, which went unused except for storage — but now it is open again. The bottom floor of it is a newly-renovated bar which leads to an outside tiled patio. The umbrellas there have been calling out to me, even though the view is… the neighbors. We learned that is it more of a daytime patio, because of the dubious lighting outside at night. If doing a local cabana crawl, start here. :-) Wine is only $ 4.75 a glass, the reason being that it all comes from a box. It can be hard to avoid smokers out there. The server seemed put upon and had a strange affectation of calling us «children» and me «young lady»(no «young man» for my partner though, funny). Rather than being cute, it just served to remind me that I am not young and haven’t been for decades. It is even worse when people talk like this to elderly people. It comes off as mocking and hurtful. Mgmt should put the kibosh on this habit. Should I have said something? Esposito’s has many personalities: There is a pizza-joint-style area with formica booths where you can watch tons of people coming to pick up takeout. You can also sit at tables out on the glassed-in porch, where you see a lot of families. The bar used to be downstairs in a depressing brown-paneled, rec-room-type space, so the new bar is much nicer, with no scary steps to descend. There is live music on the weekends sometimes. To vegans: They will make tomato pies without the cheese once you move past the shocked, confused looks and convince them that, yes, this is really what you want. The cook may even come out to make sure they heard it right. Their tomato pies are better than most I have had because of the thin, crispy crust. The contorni(meaning Italian side dish) is spinach and broccoli in garlic and oil, delicious, but get some extra bread to soak up the oil you will want to pour off the greens. Remind them not to put cheese on top. The vegetable medley($ 8), bruschetta($ 8), and the broccoli spinach pasta($ 13) will also work for you. Vegetarians will have several more choices. They really could do so much with vegetables here. Any Italian that ramps up the plant-based offerings will draw vegans from all over. When will a local one step up? They are open every day, I believe, and you can usually get food up until 10pm or later.

Rarely give a 5 star rating, but their brick oven pizza is to die for. I have fond memories of going to Esposito’s in my youth for every special events/family gathering. I’ll always remember Jimmy coming out to squeeze my cheeks. Even though there is a new owner(which, to be honest, made me apprehensive of going back after all these years), the place is still top-notch. I ordered a side of the meatballs and a brick oven pizza, of course. I broke apart the meatballs with my fork and then put them on the pizza(just like I did when I was a kid). Brought back some memories and still tasted great. Service was good and restaurant was clean. This place may look like a hole in the wall but don’t let that shy you away.

You would drive right past if you didn’t know any better. Their food is absolutely spectacular. My favorite is the Shrimp Scampi but I order it over Angel Hair instead of Linguini as I prefer a thin noodle. The Manacotti is amazing the pizza is wonderful Black Olive and Pepperoni on mine please. They also have a killer Special Italian Hoagie which they toast. I have been coming here for 15 years and the food has always been outstanding, My best girl Donna loves the Tortellini Aurora which is a cheese stuffed multi color pasta and she gets the special sauce which is a red cream sauce with crab. Everything is home made here so its a bit of a wait for your food but nothing too complain about. They just opened a new bar room which is stunning and they have also added a outside patio which is very nice in the summer. Warm fresh bread and amazing olive oil and minced roasted red pepper sauce for dipping. amazing Bring your appetite because the portions are huge. Hands down an all time favorite…

We had a mini-super bowl party at our house for just me and my roommates. Since it was only three of us, we didn’t order a whole lot of food: a large Italian hoagie, 12 wings, a slice of pizza(for me), and a bag of chips. All of that plus $ 1 delivery charge cost us $ 18.80. They did accept my roommate’s credit card as payment even though it was delivery. I didn’t try the italian hoagie, but I wasn’t thrilled with the pizza. I only ordered one plain slice but it was burnt and very stiff with a stale aftertaste(possibly due to the fact it was burnt). There was also not a lot of sauce or cheese; it looked like they put the minimum they could on it. When it came to the wings, I felt the sauce was a bit too zesty though my roommate seemed to enjoy it. The $ 1 delivery cost wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t order pizza from here again any time soon. EDIT: 2÷11÷10 My roommates ordered from here again tonight so I tried a pepperoni and cheese calzone and cheese fries. Calzone=good Cheese fries=soggy brew fries So the 3 star rating stands.
