My wife’s review is completely accurate. To address Steve’s concerns, we lived in Reading at the time that we got married and her name wasn’t Amy N. then because we weren’t married yet(duh). He’s not a very good photographer and he’s not a very professional person. I wouldn’t hire him.

We hired Steve G as our wedding photographer, and really wish we had not done that. We were shown his portfolio at the consultation and were impressed enough to hire him. His price points were a lot better than some of the other area photographers as well. We told him that we wanted a lot of the standard pictures, as well as candids and«photojournalistic» pictures. He assured us that he didn’t need a list of the«must-takes.» What we got was a lot of garbage. The background of many of the pre-wedding pictures was my parents’ TV, he only took 2 pictures of the groom before the ceremony, and he didn’t take pictures with the groomsmen. I told him that there were special people we wanted pictures of, he didn’t do it. He didn’t take any of the«standard» pictures we wanted, took so long after the ceremony and the outdoor location that we had to beg the limo driver for more time, stopped taking pictures at the reception much earlier than expected, and was drinking and hitting on the bridesmaids. When we finally got the proofs, which took much longer than he promised(he had several excuses ready when I called), they were not very good. He spent so much time trying to get us all posed, that our faces looked unnatural and strained. He also tried to tell me that I couldn’t keep the proofs, even though that was in the contract. Fortunately for us, we had several family members who took pictures, so it didn’t matter than we didn’t order anything more than what was part of our package. I just wish we would have spent more money and hired someone more professional.
