As far as consignment shops go, this is a very good one! I would love to try the other stores in Short Hills and elsewhere.
The clothes are well-​cared for, carefully selected, and very well organized. (As a frequent consignment shop consumer, I will tell you that is not always the case!)
The regular prices are good, but the sales at the end of season for the consumer are FANTASTIC! It is hit and miss (depending on who is cleaning out their closet), so you need to stop in often.
The sales staff are very friendly and very helpful. They allow you to browse, and are never pushy in my experience. Go check it out!

Do not take your items here to be consigned. You will not get anything back for them. I had a several items on consignment that were in perfect conditon and sold for pennies. I am extremely disappointed. I would have gotten more money from ebay selling on my own.

West Long Branch, NJ
Good, somewhat up-​scale, consignment shop focusing only on women’s clothing. I went here with my daughter and we spent a few hours as my daughter tried on dozens of outfits.
Staff is very friendly. Prices are fair. Clothing is in great condition.
My only recommendations is that they need to invest a little money in the store attire. It looks like they started painting this place a few years and stopped. Just paint the walls and please put a sheet over the very worn couch to make it appear new again and this place would be much nicer.
Also be warned that all sales are final — no returns. This is okay since it is a consignment shop but you need to know this. They have signs telling you this so this should not be a surprise.

I loved this place. The sales racks are SUCH a bargain, I cannot imagine why anyone would shop anywhere else. The sales staff were super nice, and I found a great BCBG Max Azaria jacket for my mum for below $ 30. Their consignment pieces are super clean, and in perfect condition.
My only concern is no returns, and I was worried that my mum wouldn’t love her surprise, but luckily she did, or else I would have been stuck with a jacket!
Defintiely worth going to!

I am SO, SO happy that there is a Double Take location in Red Bank! The manager is very particular about which pieces she accepts, so the collection is well curated and VERY well priced. I’ve found DVF wrap dresses in absolute perfect condition for under $ 100 (you can’t even get these on eBay for under $ 150), and last time I was there I got the most amazing Theory pants for $ 30 (make sure you check out the sale racks!!). They also have three other stores in North Jersey, and if they don’t have what you want in Red Bank, they will try to locate an item in one of the other locations.
They carry tons of high end costume jewelry, and the shoe selection is great.
From a consignor’s point of view, the split is VERY fair, and they are very prompt with sending out checks when your stuff sells. Overall, I would consider this one of the best shopping spots in Monmouth County, in terms of value and service. Five very well-​deserved stars!
